I felt very compelled to write something for Scrapped Princess though I don't really write up reviews much so I apologise if it's too short. In this short review, I will be mentioning some minor spoilers though it's necessary for some of my points to get across. I will try my best to not spoil too much of what goes on.

You felt a real deep connection with Shannon/Raquel, for wanting to protect their younger step-sister (Pacifia) at any cost. The comedy between Shannon/Pacifia was really entertaining and it was effective in making you care for their relationship when things got tough. In fact, ... I would say the interactions with the side characters were really good. At times, it could feel like Pacifia can be annoying with her perspective but when you factor her position, you kind of realize that it's understandable. Shannon was definitely the MVP of the show, always making an impact wherever he went. There were definitely some moments in Scrapped Princess that had you felt like tearing up because of how emotional they were.

Now, I am going to discuss some of the things that I didn't really like that much. The second half of Scrapped Princess felt sort of dragged out. Pacifia losing her memory and living a portion of her life with some guy she found on the streets was weird. What's even weirder is how the guy looks just like her step-brother. Everything about this guy was pretty much an exact replica of Shannon with the real exception being their profession. I believe this whole thing took way too long to get resolved. Another thing that was somewhat disappointing was how some of the Peacemakers (the bad guys) were dealt with. Some of the Peacemakers gave lots of trouble for everyone but then a split second later they got defeated.

I'd say the positives for sure outweigh the negatives for Scrapped Princess. Check it out!

I'll try to be very brief with this short review without spoiling much.

You can't really dislike the main characters Yukino and Arima. We are given decent development between the main characters leading to their relationship. We delve into the darkest secrets of the main characters and are shown how they overcome it. You don't feel left hanging with the side characters as well which I feel is definitely worth mentioning. They kept revisiting the theme of someone filling in that person's empty heart which was a crucial theme of this series.

However, something that bothered me very much and likely did for others who've ... watched this was the last few episodes (caused me to lower my overall rating for this show). I feel like this is worth mentioning simply because as watchers, you should know ahead of time about the major fallback of the series. I'll say though that for the most part I did enjoy this series and it was one fun ride despite what I've mentioned. The animation is old but that should not stop anyone from turning away from it. I would still recommend this anime for anyone who's looking for a good school romance anime with decent drama.

If you're looking to spend a great amount of time on a show where you'll be so entertained that you wouldn't even notice how much time has passed by, then look no further! I've tried my best to not include much of any spoilers for this review. There might be a minor spoiler but I did my best to not expose which character it pertains to in the show.

I've watched a fair share amount of slice of life animes and this definitely is up there as one of my favorites amongst them all. This show offers some really great comedy and the romance is handled ... well for the most part. There's a step-back in one of the relationships which I won't really go much into details since it's one of the main characters love interest involved. That'd be one of the things that really disappointed me as a fan of the show. Also I would like to have seen more with one of the twins love interest, unfortunately it pretty much was sidetracked. However I'll not allow that to cloud my judgement on how I felt about this show overall. The characters were quite likable and relatable. The five main characters have their own strengths and weaknesses that sets them apart from each other. It's explored throughout both of the seasons. Each of them pretty much are unique in their own ways. They remain as cool as they were from the first season. After finishing both seasons, you will realize the power of their friendship. Not to forget how the OST's used in this show were soothing and heartwarming.

Overall I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in a slice of life/school setting anime. It focuses on friendships and explores their interactions with other characters.

I felt somewhat compelled on making a review for this just because (lol). Its a pretty lengthy review which WILL contain some spoilers so I'd advise you to read with caution.

If I were to be asked "Was there much progression between Mio Natsume (the girl MC likes since middle school) and Eita Izumi once they rejoiced?" well my answer would simply be there was HARDLY ANY. Most of the time we were stuck with hearing Mio complain and make excuses to our main protagonist for why she hasn't made any progress in confessing to his friend Haruto. At that point it was playing cat ... and mouse, nobody wants to make a move and confess their feelings for the one they liked (between Natsume and Eita).

For several episodes we are rewarded to some nice touching moments of another girl named Komiya relationship with Eita. Without going too much into details, Komiya goes out of her way to assist Izumi for his exam while at this time "the witch" Mio is practically non-existent. Throughout all these episodes, the only time we see "the witch" Mio was when she catches the two hanging out for the first time (which probably fueled her rage to the maximum) or too busy being very concerned with Haruto & Morikawa.

When I finished the show, I felt more satisfied with the Eita's friend shipping than his own. Haruto/Morikawa relationship blossoming was more healthy and understandable. It didn't feel anywhere as bad as the official ship between Natsume and Eita which was forced and rushed. Whenever Mio & Eita interactions were shown, it mainly displayed how jealous and b*tchy she truly was. It's not as if there was an episode or two showing Mio & Eita hanging out with each other and getting any closer than they were before which if that happened, I probably wouldn't have nearly as much of a frustration over this relationship.

I hope that my review will help prepare others for what's to come in this anime. I mainly liked Just Because for Haruto/Morikawa moments along with Komiya's refreshing energetic personality. I would give this anime a rating of 6 out of 10 at the moment though a quick look over at this anime at a later time may cause me to change it.

I did enjoy the series for the most part but there were a few things that did bother me. Some stuff we just were not given answers for in the end. It's unfortunate because I did feel it had some decent potential overall. I was caught by surprise when we found out that Yorito was simply just a mere illusion. That was really when the show definitely piqued my interest. The character that I enjoyed the most ended up dying for the sake of giving Aono another chance to live as a normal human. I felt that the one truly deserving of being given another ... chance to live was definitely Mayuko. At the same time I do understand why Aono was given one, a chance to grieve over Yorito death I suppose. But it didn't help at all how over-possessive and bitchy she tended to behave. Definitely a character who deserves to be well disliked. It was more difficult to sympathize with her when you have Mayuko who's pushed aside. However to be somewhat positive on the ending, I did like how it emphasized on the sky connecting them all together. Perhaps for now I'd give this a solid 6. This is my first review but I just felt compelled to do one on this.
