Hey hey! Sorry it's been a while - I've been kinda preoccupied with some projects and stuff, like trying to finally put my bedroom back together after all the damage from falling trees in the winter. Anyway, I just checked out your friend's band and you're right - they are pretty good. Do they just play local clubs and such, or is it a full-time gig?
Totaling a car definitely sucks... hell, having to have any work at all done can be a huge hassle. I had to have some minor body work and stuff done to mine at one point after someone I worked with backed into it in the office parking lot, and even though his insurance had to pay it all it took a lot of effort to keep them from shafting me. But yeah, has your friend cheered up any yet?
Honestly, even without misunderstandings (sarcasm is particularly hard to read in online conversations), I think people are generally worse online... many of them just act like dicks because there aren't any consequences for doing so - not like in real life where hearing/seeing a person's reaction to what you say (or getting punched in the face for talking smack hehe) can have an impact.
Ohhh, wow, okay. That was a while ago.
Alright, but yeah, I remember you now.
Yeah sorry about that. If I've said anything rude to you, I apologize. I was a little more immature back then, too. All of that is in the past, though, so I don't see any reason to not move on from that. : >
We broke up, like, two years ago, or something, just to let you know.
Time sure does fly. x_x
Ffff, I don't remember you. But did you have a different name then? Maybe that's why I don't. : ( If not, then my memory really does just kill.
Well, there's not much to stalk nowadays. I hardly watch anime anymore, so I only come on here like, once a week instead of every day.
Sad.
Well, welcome back~
Awesome song, definitely. I like their other stuff a lot too, but somehow I always end up listening to the songs from that same album.
Korean, huh? I used to have some Korean neighbors, actually - I think the father met his wife over there when he was in the military. Anyway, they were definitely cool people, but I don't know a whole lot about their culture or anything of the sort - just what I learned from Tae Kwon Do classes when I was like 6 hehe
Anyway, that was an awfully sweet thing to say ^_^ I actually know a guy who was about the exact opposite. I was friends with both him and his girlfriend through this forum I used to run (which is also how they met, actually), and while he was pretty cool to talk to and hang out with in person, or even via the phone or email or something, he was a drama queen and a often a huge dick online. I never could get my head around it. But yeah, I don't think I've known many people who were better online than off, unless they were just acting differently because of who they're around (trying to impress their friends, etc.)
Smashing Pumpkins! Yay! Also, yeah, it's a pretty good song. Not one of my favorites by Elton John, really, but it's pretty upbeat and thus better suited for Guitar Hero.
And... Asians, hmmm. Not sure that I really have any thoughts on Asians in a general sense. I'm pretty fond of Japanese style and culture, perhaps some Chinese as well, and I tend to like most Asian food. What sort of answer were you looking for?
Yeah, and even if you do remember how to play, not practicing still kills your tone and speed and such. Especially with the guitar and such... if you practice regularly then your fingers don't get so sore. I think the piano is a lot easier than the guitar to understand how to play, but more difficult to actually do - I always had a hell of a time trying to play different things with each hand at the same time.
Do you have a recipe?
As for Elton John, I do like his music. Can't say I've ever been particularly stuck on any of his songs, but I tend to enjoy most of the ones I've heard. And "Saturday Night's Alright" is great for torturing my brother with in guitar hero... it's hard as hell to play.
