All style, v little substance.
Studio Trigger have made an incredible sceptical. But man, is the story-telling disjointed and feels like a speed-run to the finish line.
I would have MUCH rather had this been longer at 24 episodes slowing down to really explore the character motives/feelings. David is kinda boring, his mothers' death feels less impactful or meaningful because we don't have enough time with her character to feel that weight hang over his shoulder. out of nowhere with v little visual hints towards that being the overall outcome. We also didn't see that character have more manful emotional moments with David for it to feel impactful.
It feels very disjointed narratively. I can understand this being seen as incredibly fun, because the sceptical of violence and sex is super hyper and kinda like super-charged candy. This show needed a stronger narrative + characters.

Bleach just slaps.
Kubo has a distinct aesthetic, and way of writing, that is incredibly visual. Everything he presents here is always striking and, even if nonsensical, very memorable.
This is one of the most shōnen ass battle shōnen out there. I really don’t believe Bleach deserves the hate that it gets. Granted, I have skipped all the filler.
Bleach has this sharp juvenile charm that sticks out. It takes its time to tell its story, and its narrative beats of friendship + family is more charming than dull. It allows for things to slow down, and be character-focused.

and weak at times. It’s dated, its filler is FUCKED, and the show is long. It is VERY repetitive at times. Furthermore, it’s also kinda unfinished. But like damn, the DRIP, THE MUSIC, THE SOUL SOCIETY, THE CHARACTERS, and the battles and strange amount of fun in watching dudes hit shit with massive swords is reaaallly fun and exciting to watch.
I straight up love Bleach. It's a flawed gem in many regards. I’ve also been going through a bit youth patch with finishing up uni and looking for work. Bleach always gonna have a special place in m heart fam.

An Orange review.
This orange is bittersweet. The story is juicy and fresh with many intresting characters and the overall presentation of the manga is beautiful and each character, whilst following some tropes, is fascinating as all characters are very relatable. Yet the story of orange is bitter, it is about depression, suicide, loss and trying to find ways to help someone that you love that is suffering. All of this makes orange a compling and intresting take on the rather flawed shojo genre.
Story: Orange is about Takamiya Naho, a sweat teenage girl, who one day recieves a letter fro herself 10 years

in the future. From the letter Naho learns about how a new transfer student Naruse Kakeru will be joining her class and how he will became a good friend of hers and that she will fall in love with him. From this point onwards Orange becomes a very bitter story as Naho learns, from reading the letter, that Kakeru will not be with them, she and her over friends, for after his 17th birthday Kakeru decided to kill himself. Orange is about guilt, the letters tht Naho receives are ways In which Her future self tries to rewrite time as thy both try to change the future I which Kakerus guilt ultimately doesn't lead to his death.
Orange is bleak, yet also shines through the amazing why In which the characters interact with each other. The story, while having its sad moment also shines In its lighter funny moments that really help pad out th story and keep it entertaining and intresting.
Characters: every character in orange is relatiable. We all have that sporty good hearted friend, the friends that stick up for us, the friend that makes us laugh, that geeky friend that is always looking out for us in his own special way and the friend that sometimes needs help and support from others that also suffers from depresion. I love the full cast of characters, each character is intreging and intresting, I love them all, I like every single one.
Overall score and enjoyment: I'm, from what I've read so far, enjoyed absolutely every little second of Orange. It is an enjoyable, heart wrenching manga that is one of the best shojos out their and I highly recommend giving it a go, even if you don"t like romance manga.

So far from the looks of things this manga has alot of potential to be on par with the big 3, in fact it could be better, it might even be the next Hunter x Hunter.
The overall plot for the manga is rather interesting, besides following a few cliches (because shounen) the setting is generally based in a world at which humans have been somewhat evolved to a state in which at the age of 4 they develop powers in which then can became SuperHeros, which is pretty unique in my opinion having a society run by heroes. villains which the heroes must fight an save the land. What I love from the story so far is just how generally simplistic it is, it's also cool seeing American Comic Book styles and influences incorporated in to the manga. It is a nice story that is as followed pretty cliche yet overall fun and entertaining.
I absolutely adore the art. I love simple. The art is fun and simple. It, like the manga, is just fun and entertaining which brings a nice smile along my face it makes me engage within in the world better and I love the kind of wacky character designs. The art overall has this nice charm to it and you can really tell that a lot of love has gone into the making of it.
The Characters are somewhat a nice mix between Blue Exorcist, Naruto and Hunter x Hunter yet feel very stand alone. The only 3 character worth mentioning, so far, as follows: Kacchan(the ass hole childhood friend who hate MC's guts and wants to be the best hero of all time), Deku (our wimpy, at first, MC who is always willing to help those in need, regardless if he doesn't have any powers) and All Might (the greatest hero of all time who has chosen Deku to be his prodigal). The character so far have been slowly developing and all have their own nice quirks and charms. Even if Kacchan is the biggest DICK of all time.
Enjoyment: I'm Loving it (also I should note that it takes place in a HighSchool setting, forgot about dis, people will hate it because of this) it's simply a nice shouen that uses Cliches correctly while maintaining it's own personality.
I'd recommend reading it or checking it out if your'e a fan of Naruto and need something to fill that hole. Or if you just want a fun shounen to read and something that doesn't require a nice amount of brain processing full of symbolism and dark disturbing imagery.

Warning: This review contains spoilers pertaining to the series' plot
Misu Misou is a tale of bullying, death, romance and revenge (sweet blissful revenge).
The story is gory, romantic and absolutely tragic. The story is based in a small village outside of japan, in a very hush hush area, and essentially the new girl is bullied by psychopathic tweens. Without spoiling its interesting tale, they do some pretty fucked up shit, which results in the main character to stand up and kill the little cunts.
What I love about the story is how essentially it is a psychological horror revenge tale, with a nice dash of

romance. But what the story does is really make you feel as if all the characters, no matter how fucking awful they are, don't really deserve to die, and how you really feel bloody awful watching them die so horribly. Yet at the same time you are happy they are dead.
Art: The art is awful, it looks bland and dull.
Characters: The characters are interesting and very normal, I like them, I can relate to them. but when the blood starts splattering these characters change from normal to badass, it's amazing.
Overall enjoyment: I liked it alot, in fact I can't wait to see what happens next. It is very violent it's kinda on the fuckked up level of Elfen Lied, so if you don't like Elfen Lied don't read this.

I, personally, love everything about Fullmetal, for not only is it an amazing anime, full of an incredible amount of heart and soul, but it was also the first anime that really introduced me to the beautiful world of manga, anime and Japanese culture. Whilst not being the first anime i ever watched, (dragon ball z being the first, followed by Nartuo (which i personally never really liked), it was the first anime that i completed fully. So, to my surprise, in 2010, after about a 3 year break from anime, when i came across the title Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, i was surprised that

the story wasn't over yet, (i never had access to the internet until the age of 13, this being in 2010, and the library where i got my manga didn't have the complete volumes of Fullmetal), yet i decided to ignore it, only until recently i decided to watch it, due to my passion for anime coming back in 2013, and i gotta say, every moment, every minute was absolutely astonishing and to this day Fullmetal Alchemist will always have a special place in my heart and will always be my favorite anime. :3
Story: The story of FMA:B is basically the tale of 2 brothers, Ed and Al, who after performing a forbidding type of Alchemy called Human Transportation to bring their dead mother back to life end-up not only failing to bring their mother back to life but also sacrificing their bodies, Ed losing his arm and leg, whilst his brother AL is locked to a suit of armor. The story of Fullmetal Alchemist is rich, full of brilliant themes and ideas that at times can be absolute tear-jerkers, to dark undertones, such as genocide, corruption, lust, greed, envy and wrath. The whole story is essentially a journey to reclaim what has been lost and a chance at redemption (for example ED AND AL trying to re-gain their lost limbs). Everything about the plot to full-metal is almost flawless, the ending is absolutely spectacular leaving absolutely no plot holes.
Art: the art is simplistic, yet captivating. I absolutely loved the art style, i found it very re-refreshing and the character designs where amazing, all handled by my personal favorite animation company BONES.
Sound: The music in Fullmetal is absolutely brilliant, especially the opening and closing songs. All music does a fantastic job at showing the themes and the underlining feel of the show, a chance of redemption and to find what has been lost. Over the Dub and the Sub, for fullmetal, i would have to go with the DUB, every performance is top-notch, not one bad bit of dialog, yet you can never go wrong for the 2, sub and dub, both are top-notch.
Characters: i refuse to explain how incredible they are, watch it, for the love of god, watch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Enjoyment: I gave the anime a goddamn 10/10, i love almost everything about it.
Overall: WATCH IT, READ IT, BUY IT, worth all of your money.
(compared to the original i believe they are both amazing peaces f work that must be seen)
