oh it was your birthday! happy belated birthday, i'm sorry i didn't notice :o
yeah, summer's about to end, it went by so fast! autumn is my favorite season so i'm not particularly sad about it, it's just strange how fast time passes o.o
i've been studying for exams and looking for a job mostly, also trying to get into watching anime consistently again ^^

haven't watched Genocyber, i've watched Serial Experiments Lain and i LOVED it though. Such an obscure anime; i definitely want to watch it again and see what i can pick up from it now that i'm older.

I didn't find it scary, but i think it is a great anime and one of my favorites. The only scene that i found disturbing is the elevator scene. For me it's mostly the atmosphere, music, art and color scheme of it that made me love it. I've read the novel and it was a good read as well.
I've watched Higurashi, it's nice.
