Bite-sized stories which will give you something to think about afterwards - That is how I would best describe all incarnations of Majo no Tabitabi (Light Novel, Manga, Anime, Spinoffs).
Not much can be said without giving spoilers, but the Majo no Tabitabi manga adapts a small selection of the best stories from the Light Novel of the same name, giving them new life in the form of beautifully illustrated panels and excellent dialogue.
If you aren’t sure whether or not you want to invest your time in the long ongoing Light Novel (25 main volumes + 6 spin-off volumes in print or announced thus
...
far), this manga serves as a great way to test the waters with self-contained highlights from Elaina’s journey across the world.
In short, I would highly recommend reading this both for people who aren’t sure whether they want to pick up the Light Novel, and for existing fans who want to see iconic stories come to life in an illustrated manner.
