It depends on overall sale also and in desperate times like this comes desperate measures, this is where most of the mangaka ruin the whole things,like kubo did for bleach :"(

As long it doesn't get another anime adaptation,not even an OVA,i'm fine with it but this isn't the only one,even bleach of all the series have to end in the worst possible way :(
