Elfen Lied

A story filled with love, hate and tears for everyone. Elfen Lied is about a humaniod called Diclonius. These humans have little horns on their horns and teleinetic hands that are invisible. The main character is named Lucy and she escapes leaving blood and death behind her. This nature changes when she gets sniped into the ocean and has her memories affected. then she is found by a boy and his cousin, which is questionable throughout the series.

Overall the whole story is amazing, from Lucy learning to live with humans normally, to finding other Diclonius and their interactions. The artwork and animation maybe a ... bit dated (released in summer 2004) so do not expect a fantast/ic a ray of colours, though this does fit in with the dark themes of the story.

The soundtrack of the opening theme and ending theme are amazing. These songs can be on repeat in my opinion and i wont stop enjoying it. The other soundtracks give the right and powerful atmosphere of the series. The characters are all unique and their development over the 13 episodes is amazing as well.

My enjoyment of this series is it cant be heard in the review, I really enjoyed it just in case you could see. I made me laugh, cry and feel so much for these characters and the hardships they all went through. It made me sad when i found out there wasn't a second season though it was probably the best end it needed.

To LOVE-Ru

If you feel like you ned to be a pervert and want what your wtching to still have comedy and a decent story long, The first season of To LOVE-Ru is one of those that you have to watch and then never watch again because of the genre it is in.
Ecchi... that means all the boobs, fluids and continuous and repeativitive sounds of woman having pleasure because of one virgin that is so thick that even I would of caught on to what these girls (And I was the most dense geek out there)

First of, the storyline basicly starts through the first ... 6 episodes and then comes back in the last 6 episodes (oh, it is a 24 episodes series) and the rest of them are full of boob grabbing and crotch face plants and the famous ice cream innuendo. everyone knows what I means with this. However in saying this, I not saying I didn't enjoy the series, I like the character development of Lala and how she grows through the series and there are a lot of funny parts that even don't involve a penis joke.

The overall art of an ecchi animation was good and *cough* detailed... but lets over look this with the general art was great and full of colours. The sounds, well... lets remove the amount of moaning in the series and that a third of of each epsiode full of dialoge which showed the averge vocie acting throughout. The character were a blast and full of life and laughs, again when you remove the sexual content throughout.

Final My overall enjoy of this series was as much fun as finding the media playing everytime someone walks into the room and hiding your pitched tent as the monster down stairs has its own mind and hearing the calls of a woman on heat (real or faking). But really it was a god anime and I really did enjoy it.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni shukufuku wo!

Well, ever wanted to watch an anime about a teenage boy who wants to go into a different universe and have an adventure like on the RPG games he plays? Look no further than Sword Art Online if you want poor character development... Or watch this tasteful anime about a teenage boy named Kazuma Satou who shockingly dies and meets up with a god named Aqua. See gives him a chance to have an adventure in a parallel world. He also gets to take one thing, whether it is a weapon, ability or someone with him. Thinking hard he finds ... a loop hole and says to take the god herself to this world and it was granted. Both of them are sent to this new world and along the way they gain new allies to build a failure of a party.

Overall, this anime was full of great laughs and failures which helped with all the characters development and allowed you to become to these characters. The art style and brilliant colours used throughout the series showed the happiest throughout the series, even though there wasn't actual enjoyment for Kazuma. The soundtrack and opening and ending songs also followed the continued trait of beating upbeat and happy.

All of the characters were indeed troubled and no use in a real RPG game or even in this anime, from a god who was a sook but full of herself even though when it comes down to the line she is actually useful, to an all powerful mage which used explosion magic with one very huge draw back, she can only use it once..... And finally the proud and loyal knight who only join the team because she heard that Kazuma does unspeakable things to the other two members of his party.

My final comment is that this was a lot of fun to watch and I would definitively re watch this again and again.

Musaigen no Phantom World

A world where the line between reality and dreams are combined into one and all of the subconscious thoughts have a physical form, which are defined as Phantoms. Since not all Phantoms aren't good, there are groups of Phantom hunters who specialise in the sealing of these entities with their know abilities. This story follows the life of one group of Phantom hunters starting with a guy named Haruhiko Ichijou and his phantom friend Ruru, who grow by adding more members and gain more experiements throughout the series.

The anime itself was beautiful with the different choices of colours and the battle ... scenes showing even more use of colour. Along with the soundtrack of choice and the voice actors talent made this very enjoyable to watch. The opening song, Naked Drive was also a great choice though I did need a little warming up listening to it before actually enjoying it and same goes with the ending song too.

With the characters, there were a lot of moments that gave me the feeling of, here is another cliche, however, I did like them, even if I had a little crush on Reina Izumi, and allowing to connect to them made the whole series great as they all fell into their own parts for the overall story line.

I very much enjoyed this anime and would want to buy this series on dvd when the change arises so I can go back and revisit that world. Every episode gave me a smile after the twenty odd mins of viewing time and I really hope there is a second season as it would be great to see how these characters grow up from that point.

Plastic Memories.

A love story between a young man, Tsukasa, and a Grftia, named Isla. A Giftia is a human like android with an artificial soul that exist for 9years and 4months, which are used for companionship and being an extra member of the family throughout the life span.

Between Tsukasa and Isla, they start as co-workers and then move onto full blown romance which remains together till the end of Isla life span. the emotional roller coast of this building relationship and the challenges they deal with as they race to make as many good memories before her time is up, though Tsukasa will ... learn that, the more good memories you make, the more painful your last memory with them will be. This whole story made me more emotional then a teenage girl, all the highs and lows.

The art was very solid and bold with their colours. I loved all the background images of the cities and the amusement park, showing off the great vibrant colours.

The voice actors did a great job with their positions and expressing the story the way they had to for the characters to connect with me and the overall character development, was fantastic.

The soundtrack was also great, allowing me to not want to listen to it at all without me needing to remember scenes and fell like crying.

My overall enjoyment was, well great because of giving a 10/10. I love the series and if they were to do another, I would like to see a prequel to this love story, seeing what Isla life was like from the very start.

Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai or A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist. What a mouth full of a title, and this mouth is full of enjoyment.

Pretty much the general story line is, no dirty, sexual or pornographic items of all variety are removed, and the used of people choice of words and actions to imply these acts would be punished by extreme means. However, there is a group called S.O.X, which is made up of teenagers, whom want this to change and want to teach their classmates how to "combine" and other forbidden topics. This ... makes the overall story line a bit bland however I do believe this is made up with the amount of dirty and sexual puns that are made throughout the whole series.

The Art and Sound of the series is good, with random stats of information getting placed on screen during a revalant part of the episode or a logo being placed over naughty parts. Soundtrack is good for the background music and the opening and ending themes are suited to the topic of the series.

With the characters, it is your usual group of leader lady, creepy chick and weirdo woman, but with one differences. those who believed Yuno from Future Diaries is screwed in the head, the supporting character named Anna takes that title from her as the most fucked up Yandere character. But this did give a lot of comedic entertainment, I personally wouldn't a woman like that in my life.

The overall enjoyment was great because of the dirty jokes, puns and the bizarre characters that are also in this series, though I wasn't happy with the ending of the series, I do hope there is another season.

One Punch Man - Overpowered For Fun.

This review is about One Punch Man, an anime featuring a hero “for fun” named Saitama for is the average as average can be. He looks for villains to defeat as a hero to hopefully be a challenge for him because, as the name states, he beats everyone with one punch.

The story line over the twelve episodes showing many different characters and villains Saitama must battle to satisfy his hunger for a challenge all because he is bored with everyone else.

There is a lot of comedy throughout the series, not just action and over the top explosive action ... and fights.

The animation for this show was great for the amount of detail in the fights and destruction.

No english dubbed is out for this series but that original voice actors were fantastic for each character.

The soundtrack that goes with the series so great. From the encouraging opening song “The Hero” by Jam Project to all of the background music during all the fight scenes.

Overall, without giving too much in form of spoilers, One Punch Man was fantastic and showed with only doing 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and a 10km run everyday. You too, can be an over powered super hero.

Rapid Reviews of No Game No Life

No Game No Life. A story about Sora and Shiro who never ventured outside and played any kind of games including video, card and board games. From their great talents they were dragged into a world where everything is settle by games.

First off, I love this idea because being a heavy gamer of all types myself, chess, checkers, poker of all kinds, two-up, and many video games (as to be expected). The idea that wars and nations could settle such things threw these mediums is entertaining.

Second section here talks about the animation itself. Very smoothing and rich animation ... and with the colours using throughout separated from other animations I have seen to date.

The voice action in the English dub was great and what i expected the characters to sound like in my mind. The sound track for this anime was also great with the opening theme and ending theme being enjoyable to listen to. In fact it is one of the few anime's I would watch all the way through because of them.

The story line was stated before hand and repeating myself, I liked the idea and the direction it went, too bad it was only one season worth for the moment but i am excited for the next one to be released.

Overall, I Really enjoyed this anime and would recommend it to my friends. Loved the animation and the soundtrack. The English dub was great.

Yosuga no Sora. An anime of four different routes in which our main character, Haruka, falls in love with four different  female characters, three episodes for each lady and the stories that would unfold if this was the direction he choose to take.

First off, I was confused on this set up but then understood why. Separating each story allows a new and different light on the character Haruka as he grew differently with each.

The animation and colours of this anime was smooth.

The sound track was very fitting for the story and was somehow soothing.

This was a story that did touch on ... a taboo subject (incest) that I personally found it off putting but continued through to see what happens at the end.

Not much needs to be said when the words Harem and Ecchi are part of the animes genres. Boobs and lots of sexual scenes which isn't adviced for those younger than 18.

Overall, I did enjoy this anime but can't  see a second season and thats the way it should be. Great animation, sound but a little over the top in the sex and taboo subjects.
