Elfen Lied

A story filled with love, hate and tears for everyone. Elfen Lied is about a humaniod called Diclonius. These humans have little horns on their horns and teleinetic hands that are invisible. The main character is named Lucy and she escapes leaving blood and death behind her. This nature changes when she gets sniped into the ocean and has her memories affected. then she is found by a boy and his cousin, which is questionable throughout the series.

Overall the whole story is amazing, from Lucy learning to live with humans normally, to finding other Diclonius and their interactions. The artwork and animation maybe a bit dated (released in summer 2004) so do not expect a fantast/ic a ray of colours, though this does fit in with the dark themes of the story.

The soundtrack of the opening theme and ending theme are amazing. These songs can be on repeat in my opinion and i wont stop enjoying it. The other soundtracks give the right and powerful atmosphere of the series. The characters are all unique and their development over the 13 episodes is amazing as well.

My enjoyment of this series is it cant be heard in the review, I really enjoyed it just in case you could see. I made me laugh, cry and feel so much for these characters and the hardships they all went through. It made me sad when i found out there wasn't a second season though it was probably the best end it needed.
