Ha, nice!
I love meeting people with the same birthday. :)
(Sorry for the horribly late reply -coughs- 4 years late 'orz)

I'm not really one to add comments to stuff for fear of making myself look like a fool x.x;. I don't really know how to talk to people online ^^;. (I'm kind of shy. :x )

Have you heard there's another Neptunia game coming out? Not much is known about it, but I already can't wait to play it.

actually, the way you describe it is what I want to be. Right now I'm in a holding pattern, largely because there are some issues that frankly I just hadn't put much thought into. When I came here my goal was to try to do whatever i could to last five years. I made it 6 years and counting now. But the last three years were so busy, I didn't spend a lot of time pondering what I wanted to do beyond that. And then everything got chaotic last year. I nearly moved on twice, but wanting to move, and knowing where to move is a bit of a different animal. Hence why I'm taking time to figure out what I want to do long term before making a decision like that.

Once I've made those decisions I'll go after them with everything I've got of course.

That's great that you are doing something you are passionate about. Stay with it as long as it makes sense to do so, I say. I just came off a pair of projects that I felt that way about, and while the one required insane availability, I grew more professionaly in a 6 month span, than I had in the previous two or three years.

I can understand the loneliness, I've been there, heck, you can have a family and still feel that way at times. It's all in how you manage that loneliness In my opinion. Not being able to do things you love can weigh on you at time, but remember, whatever is important, you will find a way to make time for. That's what I've learned anyways.

As for me, "Happy about the direction my life is taking?" I'm not sure if I'd go that far. I have work that I can do, but I've been rather bored with it to tell you the truth. I'm actually in a place where I'm trying to figure out, 'where do i go from here' at least professionally. I don't like where we live currently, but knowing that, and knowing where I want to be is a tricky task to figure out as you can imagine, especially with a family in tow. I don;'t think you asked anything out of bounds actually, Have a good rest.

I'm fortunate that right now I'm within walking distance of my home, so unless the weather is so bad to where I don't hazard the walk (snow and ice), I can go home and have left overs, or cook something fresh with minimal fuss. I've been trying to add variety to our whole family's diet the last few months though, it needed a 'tune up' you might say.

As for more about myself, hrms. Well from my profile you can tell I live in the states, in a small run down old rail road boom town called Hinton. I work as a Software/Web Developer and tester, and am involved with our local Scouting effort. Not sure what else you'd like to know.

I've gotten to a mood where I just don't want to eat out anymore, but this was an 'occasion' so I didn't mind it so much. Unfortunately our town only has a couple restaurants, and most of them I don't really want to eat at all.

I had initially planned to take my son out for a just me and him lunch, unfortunately the sit down restaurant I thought he'd like didn't have the lunch buffet today. His second choice was Mcdonalds. I'm sick of McD but the food was only part of the idea.

I can cook pretty good myself when I put myself to it, but every now and then I like to take the convenient route.

Hope your sandwich is a good one. Bummer that Pizza Hut doesn't do the lunch buffet anymore, so my Son and I got McDonalds instead. Just another reason to consider moving I suppose.
Veretax Jan 10, 2012 7:54 AM
Yeah, I totally get that. I remember in one fellowship in college. I would just sit and listen to all the conversations going on, and got fairly good at keeping tabs on all of them. But I don't do that anymore. Better to focus somewhere. I can be talkative when its about something I really enjoy, or I can be more in listening mode if I feel that's what the other person needs.
Veretax Jan 10, 2012 7:37 AM
I wouldn't call myself quiet, although to others I might seem that way. I can be very energetic, and even loud at times. (Though I'm working on having better control of my volume). I am perhaps a bit reserved at times. I like to be polite to others, so interrupting a conversation is something I sometimes struggle with, when it is necessary.
Veretax Jan 10, 2012 7:22 AM
Yeah, I felt the same way when I saw your one reply. At times, I feel my mindset is 'out there', because I don't react quite like a lot of others do.
Veretax Jan 10, 2012 7:14 AM
Yeah I know that feeling. It's been one of those days too.

Yes, I'm still playing Totori. I was close to being done with it, but decided to start over. I wasn't really playing right, and found out I missed a lot of scenes and stuff.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
