I have yet to play Grandia 2, but I have started replaying Wild Arms 2 in Japanese. Sony didn't translate the story correctly, but I definitely needed more help with improving kanji.

With help of my new Motorola and an emulator, I can easily take snapshots of any dialogue with unfamiliar kanji. Convert images to text and then use Nihongodera to extend my jōyō kanji. The best online Japanese dictionary so far. Able to translate 63% of Mandarin characters to romaji, kanas and English. Not sure what Cantonese is like and Chinese can be a confusing term. I do know that Southern Min (said to be the official language of 🇹🇼) is a more stupidly complicated version of Mandarin, but I'll stick to Japanese for now.

I hope that there's a close Italian equivalent of Nihongodera somewhere online. That would mean a lot for an Italian tomboy that I haven't seen in ages.

Big fan of Slam Dunk if I recall. Ghost in the Shell and Kare Kano were her absolute favorite manga.

Do you have a lot of books? To be honest, I haven't finished a single book yet. Maybe short ones which have 100-150 pages since I read pretty fast ..

they don't sell manga here. People here don't give shit about anime, we're more into reality shows. Guys like me are really rare to come by.
