I felt the same at first with the fast talking but episode 1 has the most fast talking in the show. U will get used to it trust me. If u want u can pause the video/episode. I did :p

Welcome to the NHK is simply an amazing anime I love it to death :)
If you like Welcome to the NHK like I do you should check out an anime called The Tatami Galaxy. It is similar to NHK but different enough to stand out on its own. The Tatami Galaxy only has 11 amazing episodes. I can go on 4dayz about why the The Tatami Galaxy is amazing but u don't take my word for it, just look at The Tatami Galaxy's score on MyAnimeList. As a fellow Welcome to the NHK fan to another if you wanna fill that NHK hole in your heart
