'dont watch Evangelion and if you do, dont question it' LOL you know what, that may actually be a fair interpretation xD Yeah even though that scene has become a meme (that my friends repeat...) I think it's a really touching and extremely fitting to the end of his character arc, at least for that Shinji. Did you know Evangelion has multiple different timelines? O.o

Dude you love Halo Reach too? I LOVE IT! It’s to this day my favorite Halo Game next to ODST, the story gripping me so much and I loved all the characters. It’s a really sad story to me because you’re fighting a battle that you’re not trying to win, but just slow the fall of a dying planet :/ it makes me tear up sometimes.
Can I tell you something stupid? I used to hate like, almost all JRPGS X3 I just disliked almost everything about them from their writing to gameplay and themes, it felt like I was reading a boring young adult novel aimed at edgy teenagers every single time. But playing Final Fantasy 10 years ago changed my mind and I gave them a chance again, and I actually enjoy quite a few now xD And that makes sense to me, how you play games I mean. I’m kind of the same way and will give anything a chance, heck, one of my favorite games is called The Talos Principle, and it’s all based around puzzles…. Who enjoys puzzles? LOL.

Yeah that’d be cool, Bloodborne is like 20 bucks now for the complete collection haha. But wow, barely any Pokemon? Did you even have a childhood :P But we’re at odds here, I’ve barely ever owned any Pokemon cards myself lol.

Oh that’s really sweet. For me personally I watched anime since I was a kid, but didn’t really know what it was lol. After I got older I dropped out of it for many years, until I watched Death note as a teenager homeschooled. It hooked me like nothing I’d ever seen before and I’ve been a fan of anime since, and while I’ve taken breaks (because the medium is getting so stagnant… >.>) I will always be a fan. <3
I hear you about the popularity of it spiking though, right? It happened when SAO came out over here, nobody knew what anime was until that took the nation by storm, then Tokyo Ghoul, and Attack on Titan. What’s popular around you?

Yeah, Anno is a really complex guy and it wouldn’t be exactly inaccurate to say he’s something akin to a self insert of him into Evangelion. What do you think is the main message of Evangelion overall? I think it’s something along the lines of: “Don’t exist in fantasy even though reality is difficult.” What about you? O-o

Ah it was more so a nuisance than anything too serious, the main problem was all the painkillers making me super sleepy. Also you love Halo too? That’s awesome! What’s your favorite? I’m a Reach simp myself - and FF7 remake besides some padding was freaking divine, as for Genshin, one day I’ll understand it, one day xD You seem to be a big fan of JRPGS in general?
I’m a big fan of fighting games, action rpgs and just action games in general, some slower more “deep” games. My favorite games are Bloodborne (And basically all games made by From Software lol), Silent Hill 2, DarkStalker 3, and I’m a massive fan of Devil May Cry and fighting games mostly in general hehe.
I also am way too good at Pokemon games lol

What got you into anime? Is it popular where you’re from? Do people think it’s just a “phase” for you? XD

I do too! Honestly, I didn't like/see the appeal of Evangelion at first a few years ago, but last year I resonated with its themes greatly and fell in love with it haha. How did you feel about End of Evangelion? And ah, take yor time, the reboots are... weird C__C.
