You call these blog posts? I call this the usual throwing letters, words and sentences at people... on MAL. I kind of do the exact same thing, as you'll no doubt discover as you see this wall of text descend upon your profile.

The story and setting is so simple, it's laughable.
The 3D CGI is noticeable and ugly.
What a start! You are literally the best salesperson I have ever had the pleasure.. of having them try to sell something to me! I cannot wait to experience this magnum opus! <3

That's quite interesting. And it's not necessarily interesting in a mother telling their child "That's very interesting, dear!" while they keep knitting without even taking their eyes off what they're doing sort of way- No.
It's an interesting in the sense how.. it was really annoying for me to type this message - because my monitor display is fairly large, and I was being hunched over while typing - so I just suddenly got the idea that I can raise my monitor up a few centimeters. IT CAN DO THAT? THAT'S REALLY INTERESTING.
I mean, I've only had this display for 3 fucking months and only now do I figure out that I can make myself more comfortable by raising the display a bit. Interesting!
Very, very interesting.
These kinds of stories - where you really have to actually use your brain to figure out the whole story - can have a lot of depth to them and therefore, by the same token, be a lot more enjoyable. I know exactly what you're talking about, because some of my favourite stories in fiction had this.. kind of thing.. incorporated.
In the anime, or rather, the visual novel world - Umineko No Naku Koro Ni is one such example - it's method of storytelling lets you figure some things out for yourself, or, interpret however you like.
Or - from the world of gaming - Dark Souls. A game which only shows you the story in the opening cutscene, and then you're left to piece all the other story elements from rudimentary item descriptions and the world visuals themselves.
This kind of approach is not always successful, however, and I believe you'd be inclined to agree.
While it's perfectly valid to not have the whole story explained and leave some elements for the audience (or the viewer) to figure out, it is not acceptable for that to be the sole driving force. Because there's a high risk that the viewer will be horribly bored while watching it. No-one wants their work ignored and not appreciated, after all!
So the question is.. does Eve no Jikan have anything else to hold one over aside from hidden books, strips of code and elements of the story to figure out? Judging from what I've seen, it would probably be the visuals and possibly the world itself - plus maybe a bit more - that would hold one's interest. I wonder, and I will probably find out rather soon! HINT HINT
Your quote probably isn't rambling nonsense.... to someone who is familiar with the show. Me.. Once you started talking about the one scene which wasn't a scene, I basically read it like so:
CakeDog said: There's a scene where the two main characters are talking with two other cafe visitors, and behind them in the blurred out background on a shelf, is the book "Code:Life", that another "customer" was reading. It is connected to another flubblubbublufm sfghsfghsfghsfghsfh pangpangpangpangapngapang woot woot ekki ekki-zooooooom PANG PANG PANG PANG OH GOD I RAN OUT OF TEA GOTTA GO MAKE SOME
And perhaps that's for the best. I feel I am most comfortable with starting a anime series by going into it as blindly as I can for a very fresh, untainted impression. Because as much as we like to deny it, we as human beings are susceptible to being influenced by our environment, and I believe it's fairly easy to dislike an anime solely based on.. let's call them external factors.
Now, let me say that I made a bit of a realization, -ation, -ation.
I appreciate you as a person. It takes a special kind of character to say:

About their favourite series. I'd like to say I'm cut of a similar cloth - yet I need to admit that I would personally have difficulty saying negative things about my favourite anime/games/whatever.
When you mentioned Warships and a paywall I was at first befuzzled and taken aback because the game is, after all, from the free to play model - and then I remembered that it is actually in closed beta at the moment and one can only guarantee entry by purchasing... stuff.
Well... It just so happens that I am capable of providing either an invite code or.. simply an outright invitation (i can't remember which) to the closed beta of World of Warships. Please let me know if you're interested in trying the game out, toss me a private message (on this specific subject) and I'll see what I can do.
It seems as if you're an Eve no Jikan admirer and I wanted to know - why exactly you like this particular anime? I was once on the cusp of watching it with a friend, however due to technical difficulties that never happened. Might be a good idea to revisit it.
Good! 'Cause I hate scary movies aswell e.e' xD The only two horror movies I've been able to see completely so far were the first Alien and A War Between Worlds (I think that's the English title? In portuguese it's called "A Guerra dos Mundos"), and they aren't even really that scary tbh.. xD
Hm.. Well, it seems like really dark stuff e.e' xD But sure, I'ma have a bunch of free time after my exams anyway so I may end up checking it out ^^ It's not bloody or gory though, is it? I can't watch videos right now, so I didn't see the trailer you've sent yet..
Actually, I was almost 100% certain it was gonna be his brother, but I wasn't even considering the possibility of him being the professor e.e' I was like "Wait, whaaat?" xD That microbot concept was so cool though.. Imagine those things were made irl :o xD
And nope, never seen any korean stuff except for maybe come webtoons and comics.. Did you have anything in mind? :p
If it died, I would probably cry myself to sleep and erase to movie from my memory tbh.. x'D When I saw the masked man was actually the guy from the university, I was kinda hoping Hiro's brother had survived too actually :'| That was hearthbreaking enough in a single movie for me, thank you x(
