I watch anime and have bad opinions.
How I score shows, not that anyone cares:
1-5: A mostly arbitrary scale of measurement for how much I disliked something, how much it insulted my goldfish intelligence, or how egregiously my free time was wasted; all of the above usually apply.
6: The most conflicted score I can give, as I wouldn't consider a 6 bad show, just one caught lacking in 2 or more major departments or 1 really major problem. This is mostly the realm of "good concept, boring execution." Some good can be found here, and I still overall enjoyed my experience.
7: The good, the bad, and the, uhhh, good. 7 means a lot of different things for me, depends on the intensity of the show. A high intensity show with lazy writing but good execution is going to get a 7 from me, I know most people would rate it lower but I enjoyed it to much to push it to 6. Alternatively, the media could be something more sophisticated and punch well up into the 9s objectively speaking, but if it's boring, confusing, or tries to hard to be philosophical for the sake of being philosophical and brain hurty, it gets a 7 for being near impossible to watch without both a monocle and a degree in advanced Rick And Morty viewing.
8: The both objectively good and the fun to watch, or at least one of the two was able to overpower the other to the point it became impossible to ignore. This is reserved for media that make little mistakes, and the ones they do are nothing more than mildly annoying and just ever so slightly immersion breaking. Overall very good, would recommend and would watch again.
9: Things I love, or am forced into loving. I am genuinely exited every time I watch or read something I think might be about to crack the 9 barrier. This is reserved for stuff that either isn't as objectively good but punch way, way, WAY outside their weight class in terms of entertainment value, or stuff that didn't quite click with me, but I have to concede is still an absolute masterpiece of writing.
10: This is reserved for 9s that come bundled with that indescribable X factor, allowing the already very few issues with storytelling, pacing, and most importantly the immersion to get completely drowned out under the majesty of that special something. A show might take a while to convince you that it's a 9, but a 10 is something you unconsciously notice almost immediately. It should never be expected, but it should always be cherished.

Good taste
Season 2 was where plot thickened and the characters became bearable. At this point I was NOT going to drop this series.
Season 3 part 1 continued that hook, and had some much needed human v human conflict. I also liked historia and levi getting some spotlight.
Season 3 part 2 was one of the best payoffs I've seen in fiction. Everything culminates to such a great climax, you can't help but love it. It solidified Erwin as my favourite character and honestly the opening was the best one by far, cause it actually symbolises how everything has been leading up to this final stand.
Season 4 considerably thickened the lore and politics and I had to constantly struggle with picking a side, so that's something i really liked. idk whatever the hell is going on with eren, and I'm patiently waiting for his motivations. Also didn't understand where all the hate for Gabi was coming from. were people really that fond of sasha? As people were saying, the animation DID lack the punch.
Thanks~
I have been meaning to change it for a while now.
