Greece definitely is bleak, haha. By now I am just wondering why young people stay there, but it is what it is!
Your coworker is lucky! Though America nowadays also seems like a bleak place to even visit. When I was working in a call center, I had a couple on the line and there was an incident in the road and traffic was stopped nearby and they were talking about a possible shooting in a very calm manner, because they were used to it. Brrr! I think I'll visit any other place first, haha.
It's almost as if you're flexing on your days off! Zoo, board gaming con, exercising... That sounds AWESOME! I get the need for "myself time", but damn, it sounds like a really fun week!
I was not working this weekend. Actually I was off from Thursday to Sunday, so we went outside with my roommate on Thursday because it was such a good day and on Saturday she left for vacation, so I'm all aloooone. I was gone for most of the weekend though, hence why I forgot to answer here :'D Some things never change!. I am working this week M-F though. It's kinda busy, but also fun :D Can't wait for Christmas vibes. My playlist is ready and my eyes are ready to take in all the lights!
My goal in the future is to get as much money as possible with the least effort from my side, so I'll probably stick to this as it has decent opportunities for development. Too many in fact... technology is going too fast! Ideally, I wouldn't want to work again, but I haven't become rich yet :D
I moved here almost 3 years ago due to work, yes. Not this job, but it so happened that here is a much better place to live than Greece. I can't see myself going back unless a huge opportunity rose. Everything here is better... except the weather! I never realised how much I appreciate sun and warmth until I came here and I had to live through 2 bad summers, with this one being the worst; rain, clouds, low temps, high temps only when raining... I heard about Germany and I understand extremes are never fun, but man, I think I'd prefer that to feeling chilly in summer! Good thing you're okay though! Now we can safely expect some snow maybe for Christmas :D
Your coworker went to NY and Netherlands in one honeymoon trip? She must have really loved those places to have chosen so far away destinations from each other, haha. I hope the intern is learning well and you're still relaxing. How is relaxation going? :D
Eek, working for 2 people! But it's already Wednesday, so it must be easier already (though you should have let the intern do half of it, hohoho). Lucky her though for 3 weeks of honeymoon <3
And yay for having an entire week off! In my previous job, we had 1 week off per month due to the schedule and it felt like heaven. I didn't even realise how fast time flew. Now it's normal 8 hour shift schedule so no more extra free time :( I am working in networking for big businesses and networking never stops so it's a 24/7 job with rotating shifts for us. So every couple of days, I need to change my sleep schedule, which sucks, but for now it's okay until I am ready for something else!
My vacation led me to Cannes! I am currently living in Czech Republic, which had one of its worst summers yet and September was being a huge letdown, so I wanted to go somewhere WARM. It's a very pretty place with amazing sand beaches and not that expensive to stay in September. We even visited Monaco and Nice for sight-seeing. It was fun and it would have been better if France didn't decide last minute to have a strike on all of its airport, thus losing me 2 days of my vacation... but it is what it is! Now, I'm stuck with the cold and the clouds and an energy crisis looking at us from a corner :'(
I just returned from a short vacation to enjoy a bit more warmth! It's cold early this year and summer was mediocre at best! I miss the heat! Buuut back to work from Monday, as well. Fortunately, it is not that busy, buuuut work is work. I have a 24/7 schedule too, so I rotate between shifts often. But hey, worth it if I can go on vacation once in a while! Back to saving for next summer :D
What, no D: I said I was afraid! I don't wanna kill anyone D: But it feels such a responsibility to handle a weapon of some destruction o_o A pedestrian's life is so much easier!
Ohhhh, that's a pity, but at least it's something good. You should have fun now that you can, before waking up everyday at 7am to get ready for work :O
I KNOW THAT FEEL, MATE :( Cold is unnessary if it brings no snow. At least, the next few days the temp is gonna rise a bit o/ Hooray for the end of winter!
Nope D: I'm so used being a pedestrian that I never really cared about it! But it's handy! I'm kind of scared though xD I'll be controlling something that can kill people o_o
DAT PARENTHESIS! Well, better than nothing if you are doing ok :D Do you at least have snow? Cause we get all this cold and no snow >:c It's been snowing all around my town, we get their cold and we saw some tiny snowflakes for like minutes... >:C
I'm doing great and spend my days in school and watching anime. =)
Right now I'm working on finishing animes from the winter season so I can start watching stuff like Ergo Proxy, which I've looked forward to for quite some time. I saw you just started it, how do you like it so far?

I noticed nothing wrong when I watched it
