That's very true; it's actually the reason I recently changed the descriptors in my rating system. I now use terms like 'distaste' and 'appreciation', since using words like 'bad' and 'good' makes it feel like I'm feigning some kind of objectivity.

Almost nothing caters to my sense of humour quite as much as Nise, with the hilariously low amount of fucks given about moral standards, and the numerous self-aware / meta jokes. I also thought it featured Kaiki at his best.
My praise for Hanamonogatari mainly comes from loving Numachi Rouka as a character. At a basis level, she's very relatable. The sentiment that receiving pity can be exhausting, is a very understandable one, but... she's still unlikable because of the extreme lengths she goes to in her endeavor to avoid having to deal with pity - and that contradiction is exactly why I got the shivers so regularly. I don't know how much this will contribute to you, but I felt like saying it, lol ;)

I think I'm getting too hyped for Owari S2 at this point... Every fan of the Monogatari Series seems to have it in first place. Hopefully it will live up to that for me XD
