This is such a gem, i just happen to find this manga by change while looking for another manga, was the BEST mistake i ever made !!!

This is a sugar Rush but with a credible story behing It.

Story 10/10

While i truly enjoy reading this wholesomeness the story turn into a bit of drama to spice things Up, and It was done so well that i was even more invested than before, the story didnt stay as a pure wholesome manga and went beyond that with historical settings and disfuntional family dinamics.

I have never seen a manga treat narcissist parents so well done, ... withouth the redemtion factor.
The drama in the manga was also take seriously withouth being over the top with "crazy people " more like product of enviroment ... So good !

Character 10/10

While i normally hate Girls that live for the boy and are sweet and pretty much like saints this wasnt the case, she was sweet but not naive, the opposite a strong woman , also remember that this take place long before world war 2 which mean a very mysogynistic (even more) Japan , where woman were taught only to be good wifes and they went to school to learn cooking and sweing skills. I can not judge a manga for being REAL. So in this case woman being so House driven was the norm (even more than today Japan standars) so taking that into account, our female lead was just doing her society impose role + she was sassy and most fodwars that normal maidens , WAS SO CUTE .

THE MALE lead while was being taken Care of he actually work so hard to becoming a perfect match for her sweet gf, thats the whole point of him actually not being an Alpha japanese men and take for granted the woman work but actuallly being gratefull of being loved, he decide to change and love her too. Isnt that the best way to show love ??? Best that overly cringe shoujo tropue, this felt real, real falling in love and becoming the best vertion of yourself

This manga was ALMOST perfect, art was cute 10/10 and plot was very well detail and realistic and the enjoyment i have was 10/10

Avoid this manga at all cause if tour are looking for a realistic portrayal of abuse and forgiveness.

I wasnt planning of writing a review yet the only one here is a possitive one, Who can lead to people to read this non sense.

Story 1/10

This manga is the worse attempt of disfuntional family dinamincs ever wrote , is full of plot holes even the time jumps doesnt make sense, everything here is wrote in a way that is obviously to attempt to make you cry, thats the whole point, cheap drama to make you cry, even if the actions of all the cast ... lack of meaning or reasons.... Who Cares right? Lets cry for the abused kid being hit by his horrible brother yet console by a total strangers she found in a park.

Characters 2/10
Besides cute nice selfless onii Chan and cute so cute mature kid all the rest of the cast didnt really need to existe , and the brother is just there to be hated on ... His actions make no SENSE at all, why hiting your little sister that obviously want yo conect with you???? When you clearly Care for her SO MUCH that you wanted to avoid to find out that the parents were abusive..... Why then the sudden change from caring to beating and destroying personal stuffs like her diary ????

WAS OVER THE TOP , the manga could make him just depressive in a room with cero talking and have same impact , cuz she would be still neglective, but NO, HE HAD TO BE A BEATER TOO ... And then expect him.to.forget him.ciz he was being bullyed ... Ohhhh so cute , nah the magical forgiveness came out of the blue and with a time jump. Cheap drama comes with fast forgiveness right ???

The kid act like an adult, so mature, so ready to Risk her all for her older brother ... Why on earth THE KID has to do the emotional work to Fix a relationship ? Why ???? Is so twisted , is how abusive people manipulate their targets, gashligt them into making them think is their fault they act like that cuz they didnt put ENOUGHT EFFORT into changing the abuser.

This manga make me.sick NOT EMOTIONAL, i was in rage for most of It , why not a single adult make visitations? Why not a single teacher Care for that kid ??? She had to be a saint even on HER OWN BULLYING scenario, ready for forgive ... Who wrote this ??? Why is expected for woman to Fix Broken men ???

Disgusting , the only reason i give this a 2 and not a 1 is cuz art was beautiful, and first 3 chapters were promesing so I'm being nice and

Sound was amazing too, voice actors did so good, the sound effects were fantastic as well however some background ost was lacking in Many episodes, yet OP and ED were memorable 9/10

Plot a solid 8/10 : Even tho some episodes were meh others were some of the Best episodes i have watched in an anime in ages, they take into account some scifi concepts that not other anime have, some movies but not animes; like parallel universes, warp not being warp but dimensional travel. Very interesting , i wish they Made another ... season.

Character 9/10 : very very funny yet charismatic, i never thought i would Care so much for a vacuum cleaner so much lol

Enjoyment and Overall 9/10 : The only reason this is not a 10/10 is cuz like i said some episodes were very out of place or boring, but wow the others compensate everything, i totally recommend this show .

I would like to said this was a pleasant surprise, i didnt expect anything yet I like It more than i thought, This manga was a nice journey.

Story: 8/10
Maybe is the thing lacking the most since has a full of clichés and sometimes pacing is weird, but mostly in the firts chapters, for after that the Story skyrocket and IS so so good. I enjoy It a lot, i even read some chapters using Evangelion ost to boost epicness, the battles were so cool!

It was funny and easy to read withouth taking the serious part out of It.

Characters: 10/10
The best part of the ... manga, i felt so attach to this characters, their motives, their goals, so good ! Many have character developmemt, and the one Who didnt cuz their personalities were great go beging with.

Art: 8/10
Seen better but still amazing and dinamic, golems were scary, gag faces were funny.

Enjoyment: 9/10
I find myself so Happy reading this manga, i truly reccomend this to people, just remember firts chapters seem cliché however the Story become more and more entertaining

I can call this manga a masterpiece cuz few things here and there, but what i can tell you IS that this was a very good Story that i enjoyed so much, i cried, i laugh, i cringe (for some characters actions lol) , i got several emotions and that is what people should look for in manga, read for the enjoyment of It

I feel im being nice with this score 6, since this movie is boring.
This is a ghibli wanna be, a ghibli withouth sustance movie.

I can use this movie as an example on how nowdays anime care so much about aesthetics over plot, just cuz something is beautiful doesnt mean not to care about the writing .

Art: 10/10
This is the only reason i continúe to watching this movie, is very beautiful, however its like i was watching a mash Up of a lot of ghibli movies, like howls and laputa , and the valley of the wind desings.

Sound: 8/10 nothing special

Something i love about ghibli movies IS the characters, they are so unique, they have goals, ambition, motivations, and more important, hayao love a female lead, a strong one, all her female character are so rich, so powerfull, this girl did nothing in the whole movie, she needed to be SAVED all the time by all the made lead, and thats so sad, as hayao himself mention, all her characters needs a companion, not a savior, they can save themselves.... This kid, Well she is a kid, but withouth the males she could have been killed several times.
The only character with a goal was the teacher, but i didnt feel any conection for him.

Story: 1/10

This is the worse part of this movie, feels like a bunch of movies at the same time but is slow and boring, i have to pause It 3 times to be able to end It , is so boring, anime shouldnt be like a burden. No plot, too much exposition, too much "let me explain" instead of showing, the pace is weird , so many questions , feel empty, a nice beautiful aesthetic movie withouth a reason

Overal/ enjoyment: 6/10
The good score is for visual, i love them, and IS the only reason i keep watching, but no plot or nice characters to remember, wouldnt reccomend to Anyone, only if the person is mega bored and has nothing else to do with his time

I have seen more depth storytelling in this kid show than in some “Seinen” nowdays.
Yes, is a kids show but with such a great story and complex characters that you forgot that is actually for that market.

Story 8/10: the mayor problem in this show is the pacing, not even the plot, plot is great, is how first half is kind of slow (for some people boring), but not for me, I enjoy this show all time. Anyway, second half is full of mystery /plot twist and is hard to explain the story without giving mayor spoilers, so for Synopsis there is already one ... in the site. What I particularly enjoy the most is how characters faced the problems, was fresh due to the fact of being kinds yet mature.
Another plus will be that show is not predictable; I have watch soooo many “mistery” animes that in the first episodes you can tell how will end easily.

Characters 10/10: I simple loved the female characters in this show, I find them “multi-layer”, not that typical stereotypes of the dumb/overly- cute, there is not in-between nowadays, they act according to the situation. “Character development” is on point, the depth in their actions is such a fresh air, I would say that some characters have a melancholic undertone without being overdramatic.

Art 7/10 : is not that fancy yet works perfectly to emphasized they are ordinary people facing problems with their normal technology life.

sound 7/10: I like the ending but for me that’s it… music wise? Not that much, there were some situations that would improve if music were different, but wasn’t bad either.

Enjoyment overall: 9/10 : I really like it, I recommend this show without hesitation. The problem is that this show is not for everyone, you have to bear the slow pacing at beginning and also the heave sci-fi plot, I´ll dare to say that the show is more about facing the situation (characters) than plot itself tho, mystery is what keep you on going, and characters again are the best part :3 .

Well, this movie is not a masterpiece but is a really good movie, I will recommend it if you want a good time having feels, also want to clear is not a melodrama, is quiet mature and real. Please avoid if you want to see the typical romance /teen movie.

Story 7/10: Is not 100% original yet is well directed to keep me going, most people won’t like the ending however this is the type of movie to enjoy the journey not the ending, also see too many people call it “force drama”, I’m not agree, I have watch force drama anime, this one ... has a mature point of view of dysfunctional families and I won’t tell more since spoiler reasons.

Characters 8/10: I can tell that all the character development will go only in the main lead, however that is not bad at all, is her story and I enjoy her journey. I don’t see any develop in the other characters, they look more like plot devices and helpers to the main, however in this MOVIE it works.

Art/music : Is a musical and I like it 8/10. Art is cute 8/10

Enjoyment/overall 8/10: the movie make me feel empathy for the lead and look forward to her resolution, that for me was the best possible ending, I didn’t dislike the ending like the others “bad reviews” … for me they were looking for the love story instead of her “story” … have minor flaws, but nothing that won’t let you enjoy the movie.

The director of this movie doesn’t know how to write a decent story, the end! Original Story, Script editing bla bla he should focus his work only on Aesthetics and let someone else write a decent plot for the future. If this guy base future works in previous WELL written books I can tell is gonna be a good movie otherwise I don’t want to see anything from him anymore. I don’t get the hype about this movie, some people compare him even to Hayao Miyazaki, how on earth THEY DARE to do that!!!

Story (2/10): it start somehow very normal, cute and ... entertaining with the amazing visuals however in the moment the story advanced everything went to hell, so many inconsistency in the plot, so many things explain so bad that in order not to make spoiler I can’t write it here, but they were so lame, didn’t make any sense, the drama feel so force, if you think twice the characters didn’t even have reasons to fall in love, in summary BAD.

Characters (4/10): basic, nothing to admire, typical teens.

Art (10/10): beautiful, if the rate was only based on this then the movie is a solid 10, however the definition of a movie is an audiovisual medium to tell a story, is so sad this movie lack of a good one.

Sound 9/10: nothing from other world, not bad neither amazing.

Enjoyment (5/10): like the visuals, cringes every time something about the story is explain. Btw one of the “supposed plot twist” was so predictable that I laugh.

Overall 5/10: if it wasn’t for the visual of this movie then I probably drop it and then scored it even lower like a 2 or 3.

Sometimes you have the lucky to find a good anime in a sea of mediocre really predictable ones. I can tell this anime is different in a really good way, but if you expect to find the generic shonen full of fight scenes, well this is not for you. This anime is a Sci-Fi/ Fantasy type, more like a cute story telling type. If you want to enjoy a nice story with unique characters this is for you.

Story (9/10) : Like I said, this is not about fights, you can get confused in the beginning with a girl jumping around with ... a big hammer, but that’s not the goal, destruction is just a cute way to show the art of the anime, this anime is about the story, which off course I won’t explain for Spoiler reasons. What I will say is that is simple yet works so fine. It has the little drama spice on it that don’t feel force like in so many other anime, Melancholy, well I don’t say it will work for everyone, but at least the formula in the way that the story is told is cute, and beautiful.
The only reason I don’t give a 10 is because more episodes wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Characters (9/10): in this boom of Archetype, generic anime characters is refreshing to be able to watch an anime with some different characters, I mean they are not the epitome of uniqueness, but they are unique in their own original way, they have a good development and also you will be engaged with their purposes, they also seem a bit sad, not force drama just characters with a bit melancholy, also the joyful one has her breaks, since is annoying see that “joyful” type NEED to stay happy all the time in anime, give me a break . I will resume them as Mature. The anime give you reasons to connect with their goals.

Art (9/10) : Very beautiful, full of color and weird, good weird, the Scenery is so flashy and full of happiness. The characters design is also very unique, I like it a lot.

Sound (10/10): I really like how the soundtrack make the story even more interesting, also the Op is so good, never skip it :D

Enjoyment (10/10) I really like this anime, what can I say without give spoiler? So give it a try

Overall (9/10) so minor flaws, very little, that’s the only reason is not a solid 10 xD.

I want my time back.

Wow this movie is only about beautiful color, but to the point that is annoying, I mean the color palette is beautiful, the scenery, the photography of the movie is very cute, but when every single shoot is the same then is loose the impact very soon. I can tell immediately that the director like Sunrises, ray of sunlight throught the windows and the beach, ahhh and don’t forget the trains, or sakuras, sakuras in every single shoot.

Animation/ Sound ( 9/10)…. Like I wrote before, is the only good thing about the movie, the scenery and the cute ... animation.

Plot (1/10 ) : Nonexistence, inconsistent, very boring and full of WTF , yeah at the end anything make sense. I have no idea how I manage to end this movie.

Characters (1/10) : They barely show any development, you have no idea what are their purposes , dialogues are plain and don’t give any support to the plot, they are barely a medium to show the reason (which is still stupid) of the movie, replace them with cardboard and will have the same effect. I can even say they are the typical archetype since they are even more boring that that.

Enjoyment (5/10) I kind of like the first half, then I have to pause the movie, continue with my life, then again take ir back since I rarely drop a movie, I mean I spent my time on it, but I get bored with sakura petals in every single shoot, even on the beach, I think that was overdramatic, force drama, force love, force everything.

Overall ( 4): I kind of enjoy first half then I thought maybe character will show any development or maybe plot with make sense, but no, WAS even worse, plot was a mess, character stay right there in the “I´m generic boring zone” and well animation was cute but come on don’t make all the movie the same.

I don’t recommend this movie, you can do better with the time you will spend of this ._.
