The vetting process on Discord is designed to only admit users who have shown sufficient activity on MAL's website to give the idea that the account is not a duplicate. Since your account only has the bare minimum activity and your behaviour came across as suspicious immediately after entering the server, I don't think it's possible for you to appeal until your MAL account shows enough community activity to erase these doubts. Thus, I would focus on trying to be an active member of the website rather than an active member of the server.

Thanks for your message, Anvity. I read through the Discord history and agree that the chat jumped on you too quickly for saying that you disliked Avatar and liked SAO. This seems to be a common baiting tactic employed by alt accounts who only join the server to troll. I understand how a regular user could get caught up in on it accidentally, so I'll discuss with the Discord admins about this matter.

Further down the chat though, I agree with the admins that your behaviour seemed very strange. For example, stating you were new to Discord with a 2 year old account that is in many servers.

All things considered, it's probably best for you to enjoy the other Discord servers you are in and refrain from participating in the MAL server for now. It isn't required to be part of the MAL Discord server to use and enjoy the website, so I hope you'll manage to find some like-minded anime fans to discuss with here.
