Criticism:
It started really well, but they keep cutting in between fights to show irrelevant scenes. The whole season has been like that. There are some scenes where it really did help, but mostly it is just killing the momentum of the fights. This show is really good, because it's a f**king power fantasy and the fights go hard. They are killing the mood and tone set by the scenario (fight), by trying to add drama/scenes, which is irrelevant to the current fight. They literally took away the enjoyment, which the Manhwa

Simple story yet emotionally evoking with amazing production quality, beautiful animation, mesmerizing background score, and intrinsic sound design. Need to be in a particular mood to enjoy this anime. Second cour kinda started too slow, but it picked back up with the tournament arc.
Criticism: The tournament arc was good and action packed, but at the same time it was slow. IDK it's so weird. This whole anime has been like this. Shit happens, but it's slow. Like I really enjoyed it while watching it and was emotional at times. But I feel like I'm forcing myself to enjoy it and I don't have strong feelings ...

First few episodes were actually little bit funny but it's boring after that. Looks like cheaper & light version of TenSura (even though its source material came first). Just like cautious hero, the pacing is so weird, one moment it's full on comedy and the next - it's completely serious.
The last 2 episodes came out of nowhere like suddenly he finds his people dead and becomes serious. If you see slime, they take their time setting it up and give a satisfying conclusion. This shit happened all in one episode and then they carry on to a completely different problem. Yo, what?! All is said ...

Loved the first part. Unfortunately, second part is terrible most of the time!
First of all, they made the first part ending meaningless by bringing 86 back. Fine! At least we are happy they are alive! In regards to this season, First couple of episodes were actually good, but it became a slog afterward. It was so boring/annoying to the point that I started skimming through one of the episodes to reach the climax. The main culprit is the mech fighting - it is still terrible. It is not a seamless presentation, and it is hard to see what is happening on the screen most of the ...

The first half was excellent, but the second half was disappointing as it wasn't as engaging. There was no tension and no stakes. At some point, it became too predictable. The mystery behind the king's motivation to oscillate between saving and killing his own family isn't interesting. The show can't decide if it's catered toward adults or children. There's a lot of blood and violence, but at the same time, it's very naive and unconvincing for an adult to enjoy the story, especially in the second half of the season.
The ending is utterly disappointing. Bhoji relinquishing his throne to his brother, just so the story ...

That's not a high bar, is it? It's easy to compare this anime to Shield hero because the MC's are so identical to one another that you need to conduct a DNA test to find who is the real one. First episode had a shock factor, which may or may not hook the audience. If you did get hooked, you may get disappointed with the subsequent episodes as the vibe of the show completely changes from what was portrayed it to be in the season premiere. Season 2 of 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' went downhill from the exciting storyline of Season 1. Naofumi, who was once interesting, lost his spark. The plot became messy, and any hope for a good story fell apart.
In Season 3, things got worse despite better visuals. The harem part messed up the plot even more. It felt rushed and all over the place, making the show aimless and messy. I usually don't prefer watching comedy show in general and I don't find lot of comedy shows that people like funny at all like KonoSuba or even live action comedy shows. I highly rate serious show over any comedy show, so take it what I say how you will.
Cautious hero is funny because of just one character, that's Ristarte, who is a goddess of healing assigned as a support for the Hero, who is summoned to protect S-Class world from the demon lord. Ristarte's inner monalogue's and interactions with other characters are especially funny to watch considering I laughed out loud couple of times, when ...

TenSura (Slime Isekai) is the first anime or any tv show for that matter, made me read a text material that it is derived from. I usually hate reading as I prefer visual stimulation more or you could say I lack imagination. Anyway, after watching two seasons of this anime, I couldn't control myself from reading the next 10+ volumes of LN, which is the source material, from where the last episode of the anime had ended. I even read the WN to see the climax of the story, as it is very addicting.

This show is really good when it comes to spider and then, when it suddenly switches to human side, you are kind of disappointed as the humans' story is not engaging as that of spider's. But, as time goes on, you start to get invested in humans' side of the story as well.
