No game no life never cease to amaze me. Even after rewatching, I still found myself to be impressed by this masterpiece of an anime.
The vibrant and saturated color scheme.
The witty and unstoppable main character duo.
The concept of Disboard and ten commandments.
The insane amount of thought and effort put into each game.
...
The hype around Shiro and Sora as they triumphant over their opponents.
The occasional comedic relief of Jibril and Stephanie.
The ability to persist despite being at a heavy disadvantage.
The unpredictability of how the plot development is going to progress.
The occasional "Wow" factor that is expected to come, yet comes when you are caught off-guard.
The epic cliffhangers that leave you wanting for more.
The whole idea of playing games as a mean to win whatever it is one desire.
And ultimately, some fanservices here and there to finish off the cherry on top.
There you have it. No Game No Life in a nutshell.
※ Personal Opinions ※
► Many of the games conditions on how Sora and Shiro won can be ridiculous to the point of "WOW, THAT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE." This is a double-edged sword, but I believe it is necessary if they want to play against Tet, the god of the universe.
► Fanservice. I agree that there seems to be an extent of it. There are many unnecessary moments where it may kill off the overall vibe of the show. My hope is that season 2 (if it ever comes) tone it down.
► I can't wait for what sort of games awaits for Sora and Shiro and I am extremely excited to see how they will overcome their obstacles through their own "BLANK" ways.
Overall, I personally love this show and it's, without a doubt, in my top 5. It is an anime that has inspired and motivated me to create my own related content -- and that to me, is a masterpiece. When an anime creates inspiration an individual.

Gi(a)rlish Number reminds me of Shirobako.
Except with an in-depth perspective of the voice actor industry mixed with realism and truth.
With that being said, this anime is not for the light of heart. For those that expect moe/kawaii, cute girls and happy endings, this show might not be for you.
For those that wish for a greater understanding and appreciation for those that work their butt off into the amazing voice actors we know today, I highly suggest giving this a watch.
This anime will turn many off, filtering many out along the way. But for those that stay until the end, you are bound to learn something
...
valuable from this show.
※ STRENGTH ※
► Unique character development. We may see a snobby girl, wanting to be famous for the wrong reasons. Of course, we may dislike her for it but keep in mind, there are people out there. Thinking exactly like her. Nevertheless, there are changes, in which she learns through the difficult obstacles that she needs to change her attitude or fall behind her peers.
► There are lessons to be learned. If you don't work hard, there will be others who will catch up to you. Life doesn't wait just for you. Whatever it may be, you will find one that will resonate with you.
► Our cute moe characters are flawed. Every character has something dislikable about them. Same with us. Not all of us are perfect and in fact, there are things that we dislike about ourselves. Nevertheless, they work on them and still try to be the best they can be.
► The harsh realism of the world we live in. There are many times it's due to luck that people fall into certain position. Not through only hard work or dedication but rather connections and knowing specific authority figures.
※ WEAKNESS ※
► Slow to develop. There were many instances where the plot would sidetrack for whatever reason. I felt that it was irrelevant to some degree but glad the show came back.
Would I recommend? Heck yes.
Would I re-watch? Of course!
The show is a cynical piece of work but filled with great character development, strong lessons to learn from and inevitably, something to take away for your future anime viewing.
The genuine yet pessimistic feelings you may receive from it is why I believe, it's a hidden masterpiece.

I believe Youkoso had potential to become a masterpiece.
The intriguing concept of classism, a school system where you need to rely on your classmates to survive and using psychological tactics and strategies to win at any cost.
As a psychologist in training, this, of course, delighted me.
It reminded me of Oregairu, going for a darker and sinister twist. After all, Ayanokouji reminded me of 8man gone bad. Same with Yukino (Suzune) and Yui (Kikiyou) mixed with Assassination Classroom vibe. There was a feeling that if the anime had taken the right direction, it could wind up a special and memorable piece of work.
However, it felt
...
short midway and ultimately played itself with questionable development, unnecessary fan services and cliche anime trademarks. Before I know it, it simply became like any other generic anime.
※ STRENGTH ※
► Strong lead characters. There are enough backstory and character personality to showcase each character would handle a situation in different ways.
► Unique MC. Many of the anime community love characters like 8man. It was definitely a moment of glee when he doesn't fall short like a weak-minded or generic main character.
► Concept of class. I thought the idea of 100,000 yen / month was captivating and alluring, offering the viewer some curiosity and wondering how this show will turn out.
► Unpredictability. We want to know what happens next. We want to know how the plot development plays out and ultimately, what our cynical MC do to overcome all of that.
※ WEAKNESS ※
► Pointless pool episode. Cut that episode out, the entire season will still function fine on it's own. For an anime filled with great expectation from the audience, relying on petty fanservice and oppai shots alone is nothing more than shooting itself in the head.
► Harem suggestion. As the episodes went on, there was an implication there that MC will have somewhat of a harem in which I find illogical and unable to comprehend why they feel the need to take this generic route when it had so much potential
► Beginning quotes. To be honest, 5 seconds of those has completely nothing to do with the episode itself. I felt like it was added there for some sort of emotional impact but in the end, became lackluster and insipid.
Was this anime worth watching? I definitely think so.
Would I rewatch? No but I do pray for a season 2.
Ultimately, this anime had the potential to become a unique and different type of masterpiece but shot itself short by needing to appeal to the viewers with cliche anime movements and irrelevant fan services.
Nevertheless, it's still a good anime overall, especially to people who have a liking to psychology, deception and a sense of cynicism.

Princess Principal is a beautiful hidden gem, the more you look at it, the more mesmerizing and elegant it becomes.
There's just something subtle about this show that entices you to keep watching.
Whether it may be the 1890s vibe, James Bond spy feel or how every episode is a rollercoaster, Princess Principal is, similar to the cute girl spies, a clandestine masterpiece.
To start off, many complain about the atrocious and unsatisfying ending. That it doesn't "work" for them. Maybe Princess should have perished in the last scene or how Sentai played it too safe.
However, I beg to differ.
I believe the ending was expertly paved for
...
a season 2.
If one really take the time to logically think, it's a brilliant set-up as it allowed for a new set of antagonists (Zelda and Gazelle), a clear goal (getting Princess to be queen) and ultimately, the fulfillment of Operation: Changeling (what this anime was about).
Let's not forget to mention how the anime took the effort to masterfully give us a Suzumiya Haruhi feel with each episode set in the past or future. Extra shoutout for the rhythm and alliteration.
Ep 1- Case 13 Wired Liar
Ep 2 - Case 1 Dancy Conspiracy
Ep 3 - Case 2 Vice Voice
Ep 4 - Case 9 Roaming Pigeons
Ep 5 - Case 7 Bullet and Blade's Ballad
Ep 6 - Case 18 Rouge Morgue
Ep 7 - Case 16 Loudly Laundry
Ep 8 - Case 20 Ripper Dipper
Ep 9 - Case 11 Pell-mell Duel
Ep 10 - Case 22 Comfort Comrade
Ep 11 - Case 23 Humble Double
Ep 12 - Case 24 Fall of the Wall
※ STRENGTH ※
► Strong individual characters. If you think of Ange, what words come to mind? How about Charlotte? Or Princess? That is the power of individuality. Where the characters have their own sets of personality that solely define who they are as a human being in which they stand out from others. That is strong character creation done well.
► Enemy of my enemy is my friend. The art of deception and deceit. Getting the result even when the tactics may be dirty. Espionage and reconnaissance with a hint of betrayal at any given moment. The vibe of unpredictability. Acting differently to get the optimal results. What more can you ask for from a spy anime?
► There is something to take away in every episode. This just really shows you how carefully crafted each story and character development is in each segment. Which ultimately led up to the big plot twist and the continuation of Operation: Changeling paired with some slight emotional rollercoasters along the railway.
► That plot twist. Yes. You know which one. I, and many others, didn't see it coming but that development just boosts the anime up to another tier.
► Relatable. There is bound to be one person you are rooting for in the spy team. You do that because you feel for them. Somehow you empathize and relate. That is an epitome of an anime done well.
► Each character has their own story. There is no leaving a story untold. It offers an answer to your questions throughout the journey. And you fill in the blanks yourself afterwards.
► Music. Art. Transitions. Sceneries. Take the time and go back. See how every tiny detail adds up to give that 1900s feel. A lot of anime can do it but not a lot can do it right.
※ WEAKNESS ※
► Yuri. Girl on girl. Although this is not specifically portrayed but the indication is there. This may be uncomfortable and turn off some viewers. I personally don't mind as a ship has already sailed.
Would I recommend? Hell YES!!!!!!
Would I rewatch? No doubt at it, already planning it with a friend.
All in all, this show caught me off guard first episode in as the spies quickly took me down then carried me along in their missions. Through those objectives, I laughed and felt the emotional impact they left as the show came to an end.
There's nothing more that needs to be mentioned besides the announcement of season 2.

Re:Creators is a story about stories.
Imagine this. You are writing a story. What would your character do if he or she came to life?
Meeting face to face, what would your character say? What would you talk about? Would he or she be happy? Sad? Angry? Indifferent?
Would the two of you get along? Or will the character hate you for the predisposed plot you created?
What happens next? Would you be scared because your life is now at risk? Or are you glad that something you constructed turns out to be a unique individual, animated with life and personality in which you can call it your proudest
...
work yet?
This anime is definitely a special treat to all the creators in the world. Whether it may a short story or an epic saga, the concept itself deeply resonate within the creative side of us.
To top it off, it's an original anime with unique concepts that most likely paved a novel road for other companies suit to follow, inspiring artists alike to truly reflect on what is called their own masterpiece.
※ STRENGTH ※
► Fight scenes. Mesmerizing, puts your at the edge of the seat as you wonder what will happen. How each character from different manga and anime will ultimately fight for whatever it is that they believe in.
► Music. If an 11/10 is possible, I would, without a hesitation, rate it as an epitome of its kind. Soundtrack, opening and ending. Sound effects, mid-way inspiring tone, sweet and relxing melody. Tunes that ultimately touch your heart, are the ones that leave the most impact.
► Recap. This is EXACTLY how a recap episode should be produced.
► Character design. With a wide array of characters, one can tell an immense amount of effort and work have been devoted to this project. Props to artwork, transitioning and character composition.
► Anticipation. The sense of uneasiness. The feeling of unpredictability. An anime that aims to be a masterpiece should at least have knowledge of this and this has been repeatedly demonstrated.
► Subtle beauty. There is something exquisite yet indirect about this. Perhaps it may be the vibe or the concept, but I can't help myself appreciating the parent-childlike relationship of creators and created.
► Virtues. Whether it may be courage. Persistence. Hope. Or simply doing it because you feel like its the "right" thing to do. All these presented humanistic values just makes the show more human and relatable.
► Feels. There were touching moments from Mamika's departing to Blitz finally meeting his daughter again paired with melodic tunes. My hearts were definitely touched.
► Lessons. You'll take away something from this. Maybe it's how no one is successful in the beginning or the existential crisis of you should be constructing your personal character as of now. Whatever it may be, you'll learn and remember that mini tutoring Re:Creators gave you.
► Death. It's part of life and should be applicable to all characters. I am glad to see that this anime isn't afraid to offer death to even the beloved characters that we slowly fell in love with.
※ WEAKNESS ※
► Too much dialogue. I think one of the biggest downfalls is the insane amount of explanation. The act of just talking was overboard as few episodes only consist speech rather than action. I found my hype for the anime to slowly dwindle away due to this primary reason.
► Cliche MC problem. Sota is the epitome paragon of a shy and introverted man that we hate to be. Now. Just imagine if the MC had the knowledge, tenacity and determination of Lelouch from Code Geass, this would have been a much enjoyable show, wouldn't it?
► Lack of follow-up. Some questions still remain unanswered. What ultimately happened with Altair? How did she appear in our world in the first place? If only these important inquiries were resolved at the end, it would have been more satisfying.
► Magane. To those that wonder, Magane never went back to her own world. So what is going to happen with her? Why was there no depiction or a simple comedic relief at the end? All we can do is pray for an OVA.
Was this a masterpiece? It definitely had potential but fell right off the tracks midway.
Would you recommend? If you do not mind too much talking, you should give it a shot as there are lots of strengths to this anime.
Overall, the first episode had an initial punch that motivated me to continue. Although the episodes halfway were lackluster, insipid and ultimately boring, the show made up for the loss with a satisfying ending.
Though it had its own downfalls, this anime will leave you to ponder, whether you want to cease and abandon the route of creativity or build something potentially beautiful from scratch that will someday touch people's heart.

When it comes to SAO series, I know it's going to a huge hype, filled with potential to make it a modern masterpiece. I mean, the concept itself is magnificent. A sucker to those who have a passion for gaming, RPG and leveling up.
In my mind, I pray with all my heart, that the movie won't become another lackluster show with quick cash grab. That somehow, the director might listen to all the criticisms and backlashes from the previous works, rise like a phoenix and reborn their collective thoughts into something mesmerizing.
However, that prayer was not answered. As I was presented that same tragedy that
...
happened to its predecessors.
I want to shout out to the animations first as they were definitely top-notch. Fight scenes, background sceneries, heartfelt moments, smooth transition paired with emotional music and intense tunes. Those alone, carried the show heavily on its back.
But what makes a show a masterpiece is not flashy animation or cute moe characters.
It's the story. It's the development. It's in the characters.
We have seen many paragons of those masterpieces before and they certainly didn't have any of those.
Before I start my bashing, here are the highlights.
※ STRENGTH ※
- Art. When it comes to SAO, you could definitely let yourself go and enjoy the beautiful craftsmanship of the artists.
- Ships are back. Yes, your one and only SS Asuna x Kirito cruise is ready to take off once again. Leaving all the other irrelevant girls, I mean boats, behind.
- Beautifully-made. Even though I could not comprehend the logic of what Asuna and many others are saying. She sure is beautiful when she talks and smile, the way she was animated just carried all of that emotional weight. May have touched my heart more than it should.
- Concept. Damn SAO. Back again with another new game mode. Instead of guns and fairies, bringing it into reality. Sneaky sneaky but if the idea of free coupons exists, count me in.
- Bath scene. Looks like they didn't bother to censor the "best" part of the movie, A+ decision. Thank you for the treat.
※ WEAKNESS ※
- Illogical. Skip around and you'll think that you are watching some sort of different arc. HA. Doesn't that remind you of season 1 and 2? The logics don't stay and it's all over the place. One example being in reality, Eiji can do frontflip and be Sonic-level but can people actually run that fast? Or front flip like it's breathing. Don't even need to mention how Asuna somehow gets memory back.
- Are they even trying anymore? Next up, on SAO Movie, Kirito becomes a doctor and Asuna becomes a nurse and they both have to save patients in DO (Doctor Online). Next up, on SAO OVA, Kirito plays against Blank (Sora and Shiro) in DISO (Disboard Online). Final movie, Kirito secretly buys 18+ game and plays FAKKUO (Fakku Online). What I am trying to say is that they are at the point that they can spew out anything, there will be people who will worship it.
- Lack of build-up. So weak. Could have added extra excitement scene to contribute to climax. Maybe how he almost loses everyone in the process. Or maybe how Asuna completely lose memory. The weight was minuscule compare to his reward of winning. Every action should have weight. It wasn't satisfying to watch because there was no build-up to the glorious moment where Kirito wins all.
- MC's divine blessing. Predictable that Kirito was going to win-it-all. No, he isn't going to get falter. No, no matter how strong other people are, he is going to 100% triumphant. Why? Cause he's Kirito.
- From couch potato to Olympic athlete. It is incredibly profound for me to see someone like Kirito, completely disinterested in the AR become some sort of god of sport within 30 minutes. He trained for 10 seconds and now he's number 1 not in virtual reality but IRL. Oh please.
- Side characters are just side dishes. In fact, the show could have functioned well without all the extra girls to fanservice the audience. Little backstory. Little emotional impact. Little screentime. Felt like they were just there to show how much of a slave they are to their master, Kirito.
- Weak executions. In fact, this completely reminds of Eiji. Filled with the potential to make himself stand out and shine brightly. But made poor decisions *cough* and ultimately still irrelevant as a side dish character.
Would I watch again? No. Spare me as I rather imagine my own version of how this should turn out.
Would I recommend? If you are an avid fan, I say give it a watch due to animation, transition, artwork etc. Just don't take the story seriously and you'll be set. Basically, what happened with the previous SAO.
Ultimately. This show had potential.
And one of my biggest pet peeves is when a show had potential but doesn't fully act upon it.
The idea of virtual reality is interesting. Bringing it to everyday life = wow level. Game that involves you physically exercising = POKEMON GO feels. Backstory of Yuna and Eiji to give even more feels? = Nah, we gotta show more Kirito doing Kirito stuff. Screw those side dish characters.
It's sad. Honestly. But what can you expect from a series that had potential but failed twice in a row.
Oh wait. Nevermind, it's the third time now.

Ever finished an anime that left you unsatisfied? The feeling of incompleteness and disappointment. You know exactly what I am talking about.
It's not an empty feeling, more of there should be more of a climax and ending compared to this mediocre, cliche and predictable conclusion.
If that is the type of anime you are looking for, say no further as this is a great paradigm of what I described -- the epitome feeling of displeasure.
※ STRENGTH ※
- Kiss. An anime where characters actually kiss. I guess that is a strength amongst of countless harems where MC never kiss your favorite ship.
...
- Concept. Death Note. Kiss Note. It was particularly interesting as I find many parody moments throughout the anime that would leave me chuckling for more. This is, however, a double-edged sword.
- Funny. If you want a good laugh, this sure delivers. But it doesn't sound worth for 5+ hours of your life when you can be reading me_irl memes instead for that same pleasure.
※ WEAKNESS ※
- Concept. I personally think this anime had potential if they took the plot and idea more seriously. There are literally Death Note fanatics who breathe and aspire to be like L and Kira. To deviate from the narrative is one of the biggest mistakes. No. Not even a mistake. It's a sin.
- Cliche characters. Clueless MC. Check. Popular girl who turns out to be a full-on yandere. Check. Loli tsundere ojou-sama character. Check. Full-on sadist that makes your brain and other brain very confused. Check. Oh can't forget the magical fantasy-type of girl who chose to partner with your classic MC for no legitimate reason. Check
- Predictable. After few episodes in, it's just one of those shows that MC is going to win it all.
- No progression. Whether it may be the story or the characters themselves. All began flat as a pancake and still is at the end.
- Inconsistent. The character's action were contradictory and irregular. Example being sadist girl goes full crazy and later on somehow just casually joins in for a sleepover. Illogical lines were crossed multiple times.
Needless to say, I was quite disappointed, even when my standards were low because of a harem-type of anime.
Would I rewatch? Hell no.
Would I recommend? Hell no.
Was this worth my time? Hell no.
The ending was possibly one of the worst I witnessed in 2017, granting mixed feelings of frustration and irritation that just make you deeply ponder why you wasted time watching. If you want to feel some negative feelings, this might be the right cup of tea just for you.

Well. I was definitely caught off guard by this anime. I'll give them props for that.
I went in, expecting the cliche rom-com and harem and part of me came out, wondering what exactly was it that I just watched for the past 6 hours. Was this an attempt to create something unique?
First of all, the show itself was definitely funny, filled with humorous moments as every character had their "inner dialogues" conflicts, which added oil to the fire.
There was also something remotely different about this anime: exaggerating drama out of the extraordinary, ability to create ridiculous miscommunication and a semi-peak of character development that needlessly
...
fell short after the last few episodes.
Does that make this a masterpiece? Not at all.
Did this had the potential? With this type of generic MC, not in a million years.
Yet. Something still drew me. Beckoned me to finish it as I wonder what sort of twisted reward I will earn if I finish the show.
※ STRENGTH ※
- Unexpected twists. The first episode, I thought the two Senpais from the Game Club are somehow going to have a relevant role. Needless to say, that did not happen for the rest of the show as it took some sort of detour. I find that interesting as it kept me wanting to find out where this show is going to take me.
- Funny. Rom-Com genre. It delivered. I am satisfied and had a couple of good laughs.
- Different POVs. I personally liked how the show dived into each character's head and thoroughly expose their thoughts for our entertainment.
- Character Development. It was there, but not in the way I expected. Some characters grew while few rose and fell stagnant. While some just remain the same.
- Filled with drama. I think this was the huge highlight of the show. There is always some sort of drama happening because some character misunderstands a situation or have an unlucky moment with fate. It's like watching preschoolers have an argument over a toy car.
- Art. Animation. Music. Tunes and melodies were on par, the animation was nicely drawn and there were smooth transitions. But of course, that is to be expected during this era of anime.
※ WEAKNESS ※
- Deviation from the plot. You can change the topic of games to entirely something else like hentai or food and it would function well enough its own. This was not an anime about games but more on drama, miscommunication and stupid people doing stupid things.
- Generic characters. Your everyday weak AF MC that cries and whimpers over the simplest things. Don't forget the most popular hottie along with some nerd girl who turns out to be a gorgeous babe to fall for MC for no apparent reason.
- So stupid it hurts. Might have lost a couple IQ here and there as the entire crew are completely oblivious. All of these can be solved if people were honest with their feelings but then again, we want to watch stupid people do dumb things so we can laugh at them for our own pleasure. But it was just too much.
Did this show had potential? Perhaps but based on how divergent the plot was, I highly doubt the direction the producers take can bring them back on what is already a lost comedic cause.
Would you rewatch? Maybe a few highlight moments here and there. Not on kissanime but on Youtube. You know those short clips? Yeah those will do just fine and deliver the same punch.
In conclusion, watch this show if you have time to kill or looking for a good laugh at stupid characters with the mentality of 5-year-olds. However, if you are looking for an anime on games, look elsewhere because this does not have anything to do with people playing games.

Not a lot of anime can leave a positive yet bittersweet feeling behind. Especially when the topic is related to boring reality -- working.
First off, I just want to state that New Game II took a slightly different direction, one filled more with co-worker interaction and goodness of fit rather than individual struggles and the need to finish your projects before those dreadful deadlines.
Nevertheless, the key elements that made New Game what it is can still be seen throughout the episodes. That occasional comedic moment. That serious moment of stress. The cute moe characters. The innocence of the Original Four. And of course, can't forget
...
about the memorable pervy boss, our fav shippings and the lazy cat meowing around.
This shows that there was a progression in the timeline where Aoba lives in. An advancement. Different times for different plotline and the course of this anime did an excellent job.
※ STRENGTH ※
- Strong character development. Everyone has or should have a goal. Especially in the work culture where it is competitive and you want to make a name for yourself. Whatever it is, each character has their own unique goal that they want to reach and that part of strong character development definitely make you feel something.
- Different personality. This can clearly be seen with the introduction of the two new characters, seemingly to give off a Darwinistic type of view. Work can be fun but only if you open yourself to new possibilities and see others as friends. It was definitely enjoyable to see the two slowly adjust to their new work environment.
- Novelty. New Game. New plotline. New set of characters. New type of conflict. New type of resolutions.
- The strive for self-improvement. Everyone is trying to fit in. Whether it may be trying to hide your otaku self or trying to become the best character designer. Goals and willpowers are especially worthy to be mentioned.
- Makes you think. This can be whatever resonate with you. For me it was the funny moment when the boss explain his reasoning to hiring only girls. And made me slightly envious of the work culture that they have. Or perhaps the reality that people come and go. Whatever it may be, my brain was wearing a thinking hat throughout the show.
- There's a lesson. You can take something away from watching it. Whether it may be needing to improving yourself to be the best you can be or finding yourself a role model you can follow. I felt that I took away something from this anime and can apply it towards my life. And animes who do this are a big plus.
※ WEAKNESS ※
- Less screen time for your favorite characters. If you were to compare to previous season, you can clearly tell that some of your favorite characters screen time were cut time. Whether it may be your ships, miss cosplay senpai or Yagami, I felt that there was less of it.
- Different arcs. I felt that there was a different set of progression for the first few episodes compared to the last few, especially after the newbies join. There was a slight rough transition there but it was not that big of a deal.
Did I get the feels? HELL YEAH. NINJA BE CUTTING ONIONS IN FRONT OF ME.
Would I recommend? YES ITS A MUST IF YOU WANT TO GET SOMETHING OUT OF AN ANIME.
I personally love the ending twist, given that different people have different priorities in their life. It's almost as if seeing someone finally graduate and move onto a new phase of their life. It can be bittersweet but ultimately, it's for the better!
Season 3 pls?

With 30 minutes to kill, I decided to indulge myself in a comedic anime, hoping to have some giggles before I rest for the night.
Plastic Neesan is an anime that is short and sweet. Simple yet delivers. Comedic and unfiltering.
Overall, you'll find yourself enjoying that 30 minutes before you move on with your life.
※ Strength ※
- No filters. This anime clearly has no filter when it comes to cussing, sexual innuendo and maturity. That alone stands out from plenty of the animes I watch, let alone comedic animes. This is definitely a plus if you are a fan of these.
- Physical Appearance. I personally
...
feel like the anime brings out the personality in the characters rather than relying on cute and moe-looking characters alone. Letting a person's traits, feelings and way of dealing with situation tell the story is a strength I enjoy seeing.
- Interesting. Thirty minutes breezed by for me just like that.
※ Weakness ※
- Lack of plot development. There is no story. There is no progression. There is no advancement. Just girls doing stupid and funny things in their own ways. I, for one, would love to see how the story progresses as it would be a lot more interesting.
- Lack of character development. With no story progression, character development cannot co-exist. It would be intriguing to see how the character develops their personality as their school year goes on. I want to know each person's story and their love lives and so on.
- Time. This is the major problem since each episode lasts only 2 minutes. It is understandable that there will be a lack of those but I could see the possibility of implementing small personality changes of story progression. The route they took isn't for me, given I will simply forget it within 1 week.
Was it enjoyable? 30 minutes well spent.
Was it memorable? No. I wouldn't rewatch it because there's nothing special or unique about it.
Final thoughts? P good.
Overall, good anime to kill time with -- especially before bed. But in terms of the anime comedic world, it will ultimately be forgettable as it's just too short without any distinguishable characteristics.
