We must all divide in order to grow stronger and protect the things we cherish. Even with our childish personality, we shall destroy all those who bring harm to our friends. Our women are the strongest out there and they will dominate the competition. The affairs of other countries have nothing to do with us, until we suck them into our own personal problems. Our powers are feared and must be hidden so that we can minimize damage and save ourselves. Even if we destroy the people around us, we will grow strong enough to stop ourselves and our enemies.

We must defeat them even if we risk becoming inhumane ourselves! They both center around societies shrouded in mystery and a curious character hoping to seek knowledge of their world's mystery. The characters are forced to change their morals as a result of their situation and the tragedies they face. The characters must stand against both allies and enemies in order to succeed in their goal. Even with tragedies, you must sacrifice what you have so that no more tragedies will breed new fruit. The most beautiful yet tragic soundtrack ever heard. They fit the theme of loss of innocence in both shows and the defiance of morality. To defeat evil, we must become evil.

LETS BE AS BLOODY AND GRUESOME AS WE CAN BE! These anime, how some of the most sickest and most gruesome scenes that I have ever seen in an anime. The characters are suppose to defeat and slaughter their enemies with the upmost success, but feel nothing from the destruction and violence. The plot is scattered, with rather irrelevant twists. They literally bring up a twist that they never gave a hint at all. They both involve a character trapped in a fake world, and struggling to escape the destruction with allies on the way, and tragedies in love and the such. The main characters are strong, but are attempting to face a greater threat then they are in anyway they can. The story of both stories, end with a cliffhanger.

Nagi no Asu kara
add

The type of drama that deals with alienation of those who are considered different and the hostility and rules devised against each other. Elfen Lied basically deals with the race of Diclonius being tormented for their appearance, which is a cause in their violence and psychopathic attitude towards humans. Nagi no Asukara deals with sea people who detest the idea of being with the land people, and vice versa. Though, the former show is more horror oriented than the latter.

The main characters are both fools who want to reach for the top of their respective fields. They usually use their innate talent and determination to break through the barriers set by their peers, who look down on them. The main characters are arrogant and see themselves in high regards. All of their teammates see themselves as on their level or above their level. There's that girl who admires the ignorant main character without their knowledge.

Both are sports anime where the main characters seek to be free through their respective sports. They are both anime that are considered to have an overabundance of fan service. Both of them revolve around a certain group of friends trying to reach the top of their fields. They are both initially considered a gag anime at the beginning, but that idea begins to quickly dissolve as the story line changes its tone to one of seriousness.

The overhyped anime of their seasons. Both of them have some sort of revenge story to them that pertains to the loss of their family members. They are both hot headed and passionate. And through their abilities, strive to achieve their vendetta. They have unique animation that fans consider over the top and of the highest quality. The main characters have some sort of wimpy sidekick with them.

Both have a girl who is obsessed with a boy to the point where they consider their own life incomplete without him. They are constantly rude to those who they consider competition and will make it completely obvious to everyone else. There's a lot of love drama and denial from the boy despite their past history together. Both have escapes from the most life-threatening situations and jealousy. Love it!

Both have main characters who believe that they can survive life with their knowledge of anime. Both have Yandere characters. Blazblue has Nu-13 and Mirai Nikki has Yuno. Both are battle oriented and have a bit of a romance going. Both are about capturing and defeating opponents in either a survival game(Mirai Nikki) or a bounty(BlazBlue) Both have good detail in terms of animation and are epic, even though BlazBlue is more of a supernatural anime and Mirai Nikki falls more in the line of a psychological thriller.

Both have a lot of fan service. Both have a girl who is out for revenge against an authority figure. Both try to overdose on comedy. Lots of perverted, and cheesy jokes. The action scenes are pretty good, but sometimes either overdoes is or under does the action.

Witch Hunter
add

Even though Witch Hunter and Naruto are about two completely different supernatural entities, the themes presented in both mangas are similar. They deal with the value of relationships, the mental frailty presented in humans, the unbiased cruelty people can present, and the ambiguous nature of an enemy. The death of humans become a prominent tragedy in the protagonists of both mangas but they are both forced to get past this and become better people as a result of this. Both of the manga focus much of the character development on the central characters, but it doesn't make the mangas any less good. Witch Hunter and Naruto deals with the sense of duty a person must make to its village/government even with the hidden darkness. The characters are often forced into situations that force them to choose between themselves or a person close to them.

The value of humans, death, reality, and relationships. The main protagonists are hyper active, optimistic, strong willed superhuman who continue to mature and grow as the plot moves forward. They both start out as immature and unable to solve any problems on their own. The main protagonists attempt to save their closest friend from disaster by putting their own morals, life, and dreams on the line. Through chasing their friends, they learn more about themselves, their friend's pain, and mature mentally and physically. Neither of the protagonists will budge in their quest to save the world, save their friend, or save the people that they care about. Although, there are times when they will falter, they are always able to get back on their feet and keep walking forward. The supporting characters are forced to deal with various issues concerning the protection of next generation and the morals that they hope to pass to them.

Both are made from Hiromu Arakawa. Both animes have a good sense of comedy, drama, and romance. Even though FMA deals with the supernatural and Gin no Saji is more reality based, they are both extremely good animes that deal with the struggles that occur during life. The problems that the main character from both series are extremely relatable to normal people.
