Both are body/gender swap manga. There are a lot of similarities between the two, so if you like one, you’ll like the other.

Both main characters are grey haired and have big oppai. The main premise of both shows is the female lead teasing the male lead.

Both shows have great characters and are pretty entertaining, but both of these shows will go off on educational tangents for a good chunk of each episode. If you’re in the mood for some learning, I’m sure these parts are great, but if you’re not, these parts are pretty boring.

Both of these seasons are the weakest season of absolutely great shows... if you enjoy those shows and the characters of those shows. Basically, both of these seasons are "world building" seasons. They both ditch the main cast, nearly entirely, in favor of establishing a new group of people that are present in the world. In Overlord II, you get insight into the lives of the people on the other side of the battles against our main characters. In SAO: WOU, Kirito, the main character, is in a coma and an all new cast has the take over. The "new" cast that takes over the reins of each show are great, but there is always a lingering presence of the "better" cast that watchers of the show would rather be watching.

Both shows have the exact same thing that keep anime fans watching. Cute anime girls doing cute funny things. Both shows use many anime stereotypes and flip them and just break the wall on what comedy is possible within anime.

Both of these are very emotional shows that have comedic moments that completely ruin the flow of the emotion. Both shows have excellent tragedy, but this tragedy is obscured by poorly timed anime comedy troupes.

So many f***ing cliffhangers! Fr tho, both these shows have a very similar feel to them. Like they are both a game but not a game. They have super skills but the “game” is grounded by some reality.

Both shows have a very similar vibe to them that is hard to put into words. They are both shows with short 12 minute episodes, that each contain multiple mini segments. Both shows also are “quirky” and both shows take place in a club setting, in which there is primarily a male and a clumsy female (minor differences with the other club members)

Both are great gender bender stories. One takes a romance and ecchi approach while the other is just some boy whose sister turned him into a little girl.

Kämpfer
add

Both shows are about a guy who by some alien force is transformed into a female, however each show takes a different approach to this. Kämpfer takes an ecchi route while Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl takes a more serious approach. Both shows have a romance plot but each takes a different approach to this. Kämpfer takes a crazy Harem and takes it to a new level while Girl Meets Girl takes a more serious approach again to its romance plot.

They are both the same premise. The girl is teasing the boy because she likes him and wants him to notice. Takagi-san is more cute and less... mild ecchi.... but If you enjoy the "romance" in Ueno, Takagi-san might be worth your time.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
