1) the directing is slightly below average - Camerawork is normal to boring, some scenes last too long andtake you out of the show
2) the characters are bland
3) all that happens on screen is characters talking fast in a monotone voice. they just stand around. its boring
4) what the characters say is either pretentious or they are using a complex way to describe something that has no meaning at all
and above all
5) I, as a viewer, have no reason to care about any of the characters. why should I care about that one gril crying or being a 'fake'? This also connects to 2) and 4)
I really thought Sakurada Reset was going to be a great series, but so far it was a letdown on executional level. You might have noticed that everything I said wouldn't apply to the novel, as the starting point chosen in the adaptation is volume 3, where they look at happenings in the past. In the original work, 5) thus wouldn't apply, 2) neither to a certain extent.
The monotone/boring feeling created through poor directing/script and sound directing is an issue of this adaptation and so far, most of the complints are because of David Production's lacking execution on ep 1.
I hope they do pick up until the end of the arc, which seems to be the first 3 eps. I still have hope that this can be a good series.
Your comment "It's probably the dumb driven otaku's who look for waifu crap in this scene[...]" both show ignorance to valid complaints of others and sho that you seem to feel that your opinion is superior because you don't believe in something that for the most part is a joke (although not for some individuals, but those are a vocal minority). Thing is, any opinion that is argued well has a place in discussing a piece of media.
