 I generally only rate shows that I enjoy, because they provoke thoughts or emotions in me as a response to its contents. In other words, if a work is particularly meaningful, I will rate it. However, if a show fails to connect with me or is simply uninteresting, I avoid rating them unless out of necessity since not only is placing them on a scale difficult, but rather I may be discrediting works that I simply do not understand yet or lack the experience to relate.  |
