I can deal with slow/boring if it has a point to it. I like the synopsis. I can't believe you've undertaken such a long anime. They're such a commitment! I thought Monster was long at 74 episodes and here you're watching 110!

Whoa. Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu looks epic on all scales.

I'd wait till the Right Stuf DVD's are ripped, as for a late 70s show, it looks pretty good, with fairly consistent animation and effective usage of budget, which is similar to how Utena saved it's budget while still looking rather good.

Has that artist done any manga? Are any available in scanlations?

Summer is almost here, and I can't wait to be free as a bird away from college, as I'm leaving July 5th. Also, I plan to have a bit of a sci fi fest this summer, as I plan to watch SDF Macross (1982) and some other stuff from that franchise, read Nausicaa manga and watch LOGH, which I've been meaning to see for ages now, as it seems right up my street and sounds like ROV in space.
