Mawaru Penguindrum gets better as the story progresses. I don't think you should skip it if you've already watched a decent amount of it.
As for Madoka, it's one of the best mahou shoujo anime out there. It also starts kinda silly but it gets pretty brutal and dramatic later on.

eu neste caso estou a guardar dinheiro, porque vou fazer intercâmbio com a alemanha, passamos uma semana lá e depois lá os alunos da escola deles passam cá, cada um fica com um aluno e eu durmo na casa de uma familia, e depois ela/ele dorme na minha durante uma semana, estou bué entusiasmada, não tens noção!! eheh
ainda por cima vamos na altura do natal, o que vai ser mesmo fixe, ainda bem que vamos como escola, por se não, pagávamos bué!
