Mixed Feelings
Animation: 5/10
Romance: 8/10
Characters: 6/10
Story: 5/10

Now, let’s break down this anime.

If you're looking for a light romance to pass the time, this is a great option. But remember, nothing memorable—just a nice way to kill some time.

Let’s get into the flaws: the characters are one-dimensional. They are exactly what they appear to be and nothing more—no layers, no depth. The whole concept of the anime revolves around misunderstandings. Elianna misunderstands something, gets upset, gives up on everything, only to find out she was wrong. This pattern repeats itself and gets tiring.

Let’s start with the “bad” part.

The anime continues to have certain issues from the first season that bother me, such as the excessive explanations. It feels like the director and writers see the audience as a bunch of illiterate fools who can’t understand anything without detailed explanations, which isn’t necessary at all.

The fights remain static due to this excessive talking/explaining. Battles like Wahlberg’s could be much better if the anime didn’t pause every 10 seconds to explain something.

Let's do a quick analysis:

Animation: 7
Soundtrack: 8
Plot: 8
Comedy: 9

Now, let's start with the "bad" part, which for me was the whole concept of magic. Although inspired by Harry Potter, the magic itself is very limited. The character who summons swords only does that, the one who uses gravity can only do that, and so on. All the characters have only one type of magic.

Another negative point was the fights. Although funny and somewhat well-animated, they were limited to a particular wizard using just one ability repeatedly.

Far superior to the first two, this season can be summarized just like that.

Let's start with the wood and leave the gold for the end.

Starting with the worst part of this season, which were the musicals... they were just there to spoil the mood of the scenes. They were so forgettable that I can't even remember how many there were, but I remember one with particular disdain—the one on the rooftop—ruining the perfect atmosphere that had been created.

Another problem is the lack of excitement in the battles; all of them are very slow and try to force themselves to be comedic, failing both as comedy ...

A promising start, but just that.

I have mixed feelings about this season. On one hand, the interactions between our protagonists continue to be great. It's enjoyable to see their relationship unfold, even though it causes a lot of distress because the curse prevents them from getting closer.

Regarding the secondary characters, they remain fun and charismatic, especially Daleth with her stalker-like interactions and her love for Walter, which led to numerous amusing situations. We also had good development between Cuff and Zain, which started off quite satisfying but became lukewarm and somewhat annoying as Zain's personality unfolded throughout the episodes.

As for the story, this season was ...

Let's start with the animation aspect. For a romance anime, it is quite satisfactory. The animation is fluid when necessary, well-executed, and cohesive with the anime's overall proposal.

Characters: This is the best part of the anime. Every character is charming and entertaining in their own way, not just our protagonists but also everyone around them. Each character plays their role in a fun and captivating manner.

Story: Here lies the problem preventing the anime from being an 8 or 9. I felt stuck in a loop multiple times, as if trapped in a time paradox for several episodes without any notable conclusion or evolution. Even when ...

A Romance anime with a conclusive ending is an extremely rare gem amidst so many others that don't even bother to continue, serving merely as advertisements for their manga.

Let's talk about the animation: for a Romance anime, it's very well done, putting to shame those anime that needed better animation despite being Shounen or Isekai. Isn't that right, Goblin Slayer? The characters remain as beautiful as in the first season, with subtle design changes.

Regarding the secondary characters, they ended up without any real development, although, honestly, they weren't missed, considering that 90% of the anime's charm comes from the protagonists, Masamune and Aki, along with ...
