Dave Trosko! His quirk: being the best guy around! He can do really great voice work and make your convention experience unforgettable! ^_^

Okay I hate delivering criticism, but this dude doesn't seem to have any good directing experience. Brilliant actor, but comparing to other dubbed work directed by Mike McFarland, Chris Bevins, Joel McDonald, Jerry Jewell (his Shimoneta dub is incredible), and even Clifford Chapin (who is relatively new to ADR Directing), Dave hasn't had a good run. I mean I got excited when I heard All Out!! was getting an English Dub, and I was surprised when I heard everyone's favorite personified Spaniard would be directing the dub. But personally, the dub felt a bit off. Maybe it's because mainly I watch rugby religiously and the English dialogue/Script Writing didn't comprehend well with rugby talk/slang, or it was maybe that some of the actors were cast as the character they shouldn't have voiced. Okay in his defense the characters are aplenty and he tried to get a different actor for each character, and I have to praise him on casting Chris Sabat as Coach Komori. Even casting Stephen Sanders as Gion did remind me of a sort of Bryce Papenbrook approach for the small hard-headed rookie. I also have to give him kudos on casting new kids on the block.

But... for the Seven Mortal Sins dub, I don't know why he gave Elizabeth Maxwell's character (Belial) such a serious accent. There was no need for that! Elizabeth has an awesome voice, why give the accent?? Experimenting? I hope not.

But in seriousness, Dave if you are reading this, I know the Broadcast dubs doesn't leave much time for preparation. Not just for you, but for any director if the show is new, but you are going to have step up your A-Game. Alexis Tipton also just started out directing dubs, and unsurprisingly she got the hang of it.

I've watched a lot of anime dubs, and I am very forgiving. But this man has the WORST ADR directing I have EVER seen.

The guy's alright voice actor, but his voice directing skills are a joke.

His Seven Mortal Sins dub is pretty awful. That's what happens when you let personal feelings get in the way (I'll cast new people who are unqualified and ruin sales potential over proven veterans who'll ensure a successful result).

I also learned that Tia Ballard got into anime dubs because of Dave Trosko's advice. At least he's done something useful. Kind of funny that she's gone on to have a career 10 times better while he's barely remembered for anything except ruining an ecchi dub.

Very disappointed in his casting for Seven Mortal Sins. Only Morgan Garrett was great. Elizabeth Maxwell should've been good but the dumb accent ruins what could've been good. No Jamie Marchi? Amber Lee Connors? Lydia Mackay? Stephanie Young? FAIL! If most of your cast is newbies or D-list VAs with flat or dull voices what's the point of even dubbing it? What an amateur and clueless person... Seiyuu cast star power is used for a reason.
