'Boukensha ni Naritai to Miyako ni Deteitta Musume ga S-Rank ni Natteta' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, Second Promo

The official website of the Boukensha ni Naritai to Miyako ni Deteitta Musume ga S-Rank ni Natteta (My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer) television anime unveiled additional cast, staff, and a second promotional video on Friday. The anime will have an advance premiere on September 28 at 11:00 p.m. on AT-X and Abema, before airing on October 6 at 1:05 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS NTV.

Naoki Murata (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari episode director) is helming the anime at Typhoon Graphics with chief director Takeshi Mori (Gunsmith Cats director). Yuuichirou Momose (Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?) is handling the series composition. Jun Shibata (Skull Man) is credited as the character designer and chief animation director.

The anime adapts Mojikakiya's fantasy light novel, which was published on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from September 2017 to January 2020. Earth Star Entertainment acquired and published the novel under their Earth Star Novel imprint, featuring illustrations by toi8 (Maoyuu Maou Yuusha). Earth Star Entertainment released the 11th and final volume in November 2021.

Kyu Urushibara began a manga adaptation in May 2018 on the Comic Earth☆Star magazine. The sixth volume shipped in November 2022.

J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga in English in July of 2021 and 2023, respectively. The ninth light novel volume went on sale on August 9, with the tenth volume scheduled for an October 25 release. The first manga volume was released on September 6, with the second volume scheduled to be released on November 29.
