New OVA of xxxHOLiC Announced

According to the official website, a new OVA of "xxxHOLiC" was announced. It will be bundled with the volume 16 of the manga. Director Mizushima Tsutomu and Production I.G. continue to produce the OVA series.

Well only 1 chapter is ,100% or so to say, covered. Its chapter 181, and it takes up about 5 mins of the OVA. Its the first scene.

Someone correct me if I am wrong. OVA is intended to give closure. If you are reading the manga, it would not flow correctly. This OVA actually takes place 10 years from the last animation. So for the chapters covered I would say none. Again, this is all from what I have read and digested.

this won't be suubbed for awhile it always takes holic quite awhile to be subbed compared to most anime imo

Because Infinity, Tokyo and Celes are best TRC arcs so far and we can just read of whine or for latter , not so awesome, arcs...latter...when we have OVA's of storyline in proper order.

I totally agree. Those three are also my three favorite arcs. I can't believe they skipped Infinity and Celes in the OVAs. Simply ridiculous!

Somehow, I think I might be disappointed by this new OVA of xxxHolic. There's a picture in the database of Watanuki smoking, which means that he

. They better now skip everything in between Shunmuki and that moment...

According to Chibiyuuto's entry about pre-screening of the OAD, the time happens much later than manga Rou part.

I read all the manga until now and the story seems quite faithful of the lasts chapters that "Rou" is based on on...
