Synopsis

Sakurai Natsumi's older brother is quite famous at Tokiwa Middle School, he was the previous track and field team captain who everyone respected. On the other hand the new captain, Yoku-senpai, is the best athlete in anything that he tries to do- but his training is a bit different from the previous leader, instead of practicing track and field, he likes to practice basketball and soccer. Natsumi is quite angry at this and tells Yoku-senpai that she will boycott the training if nobody is willing to train. But one day, when some previous track and field members that hated Natsumi's older brother, try to hit her, Yoku-senpai comes in and saves her. Slowly, bit by bit, Natsumi may just be falling in love with Yoku-senpai. But things aren't as simple as they seem, could Koushi, Yoku-senpai's friend, also be falling for Natsumi?!?

The story starts off well enough. Extremely short captain of the track team has high aspirations and is extremely talented in the high jump. Girl who starts off hating him for his weird training routines ends up falling in love with him, and vice versa. Delinquent scumbag rival falls in love with girl as well.

Since it's a relatively short manga at only 27 chapters, everything happens at a pretty quick pace, and it never feels dull or boring. The characters are fine, the art is decent, and it's an overall good story.

The main characters are kind of cute but HOLY SHIT WHAT WERE THESE LAST FEW CHAPTERS. First of all don't really like the main female character, she doesn't have much to her other than she cries pretty much every chapter, you know you can show tall people be more feminine other than having them be a literal punching bag, I think you have to be a sadist to like this manga.
