Synopsis

Despite being kind and considerate, Keitarou Itsuki has a menacing look in his eyes that scares away others. When Keitarou attempts to confess to Aoi Tokujira, she flatly rejects him, leading him to believe that his intimidating eyes are to blame. Confiding his worries to his older sister, she gives him a hand by offering a complete makeover. But much to Keitarou's surprise, she turns him into a girl!

Forced to head home in his new appearance, he unexpectedly comes across Aoi being harassed by a group of boys from their school, and rushes to her rescue. Surprisingly, she doesn't recognize him, and reveals a secret that she has held for a long time: she has an intense fear of men. Believing him to be a tomboyish girl, she asks Keitarou in his female guise to assist her in overcoming her fear.

This manga is about a high school boy named Keitarou Itsuki who is very insecure about his eyes because they happpen to look like the stereotypical ex-convict's eyes. He started crossdressing and started to see the world around him change.

This manga gives you many lessons on morals and what to do in certain situations. There are also amazing and inspiring quotes that can be found in this manga. If you're the type who likes crossdressing, then this is the right manga for you. Unlike the general crossdressing manga, this one carefully uses the crossdressing theme and brings it with the best plot and proper use ...

Mixed Feelings
Ookami Shounen, or its English title "The boy who cried wolf tells another lie today", doesn't break out of the mold it conveniently settled in, but in spite of its simple plot and incredibly simple characters, I never stopped reading until I was finished.

The situation that the protagonist, Itsuki, gets himself into is intriguing. The premise of a character getting closer to someone through a gender-bend has been done many times before, and this manga doesn't do anything remotely different, but that wasn't much of a problem for me. The artwork is fluffy and nice. The whole cast of characters are enjoyable to read ...

This manga is utter garbage. I cannot for the life of me understand what the other reviews are talking about. It feels like alot came in with low expectations in the first place and were satisfied with this utter garbage of a love triangle story.

Slight spoilers ahead*

Keitarou is a shit protagonist, for a while at the end I thought he finally had potential but NOPE. He's generic as can get, other than the cross dressing gimmick he has nothing worth talking about,

Aoi started off boring and later on remained as such, I warmed up to her but still find her to be heavily one note ...
