Let me just start off this review by saying that the trolls who chose to boost this one may as well be the greatest trolls to ever grace this site, because placing a manga as badly produced and as badly written as this one in the top 20 of MAL's top manga list is a feat that should not be underestimated, and deserves colossal amounts of respect, just for the sheer amount of trolling effort alone. With all of that being said, this manga is bad, so bad to the point where it is just bad, not hysterical, not laughable, it is just plain horrendous.
...
It does not deserve any ironic praise from the reader nor from anyone who reviews it, as it doesn't even contain any ironically redeeming qualities about it.
This manga is not only bad in narrative and characterization, but it is also genuinely unreadable. To start off, neither the art style nor the paneling work well. The paneling stands out as being as unappealing as possible, and many times will the readers of this manga find themselves confused as to what is happening during a panel. This is made all the more worse when there are two panels stuck next to each other instead of one panel per page, which in turn makes the panels smaller and forces the reader to zoom in all the time so that they can decipher the spider language scribbled all over this manga's pages. Basically, it deteriorates your eyesight due to how poorly structured it is, and due to how visually unappealing it looks, and it makes you feel like you are an old person who needs their glasses whenever they read something. If you think the paneling is the only thing that is bad about this manga, then you are mistaken, because the character designs are the cherry on top. The characters don't look unique in any shape or form and they look like the typical moe character you would find everywhere, only this time the facial expressions look ugly and full of unfunny chibi expressions which makes them look like they are trying too hard. Granted, the paneling does become better in later chapters, but the unoriginal character design stays the same, and the manga keeps reusing the same chibi faces to the point of turning them trite.
Now that we are done with the most offensive aspect about this manga, let us talk about some less offensive stuff, such as the plot and the characters. The narrative can basically be summed up as cute girls doing cute things and that is it. An unoriginal premise, but the paneling makes this said premise much worse in execution due to how poorly structured the manga is as a whole. The humor is both unfunny at first and grows trite by the end of this manga's run. As for the characters, they are as bland and as one dimensional as possible, and are all characterized by a joke or a trope that grows old by the end of the manga anyways. They basically have no merit to them whatsoever. Do you know what the characteristics of a cute girl doing cute things are? Apply them here and strip the characters of any development or meaning, and you'll get the average character for this manga.
Overall, this manga is dreadfully bad, and the trolls who raised the score for this one have succeeded in their mission in making a few people on this site angry, and that alone deserves a round of applause. As for this manga, it does not deserve any rounds of applause or anything of that sort, what it deserves is a negative rating and nothing more.
