I picked up this manga about two years ago on a road trip I went on with my family; and ever since I've been hooked.

The story is basically between a Koma-Oni and its' master; how the feelings between them grow into something more. Hyoue is my favorite character, a dog demon, who is Amane's Koma-Oni. He evenutally figures out that he loves her, so much that he wants to become human- Amane is a clueless master, who is the head of the Kamori family...and she is also a master of words (called 'kotodama')! But what makes this series so great is that they ...

A demon servant fueled by kisses, sounds pretty uninteresting no? From the summary, I didn't expect much from this series. I was pleasantly surprised, this manga is very good!

Story: (8)
In the first few volumes, the story doesn't seem to have much plot aside from accomplishing the romantic relationship there is. The first volumes are almost episodic, each mini-arc teaching you a little bit more about the characters and the situation they are in. Around the middle of series, you are shown that this series really DOES have a main plot. From that point on, the story goes by relatively fast and gives you plenty of ...

The idea of a demon servant fueled by kisses isn't too bad of a plot and has lots of potential when done right. Pity Her Majesty's Dog was NOT done right. It had it's moments but the female lead just got too annoying. She has this powerful ability to control people with her words but is such a meek and soft-spoken person that the fact she has this ability is moot since she hardly uses it. She had no inkling about technology, was pretty much useless on her own, and had the street smarts of a toddler. Her friend wasn't much better, if you've seen ...

Hmmm... This is My first review so I'll make it short.

Story : (7)
Well the first few volumes of the manga was very "episodic". There didn't seem to be a main plot line except the fact that Hyoue was in love with Amane and she only thought of him as her "dog". The first few was almost annoying , but as it continues the story revealed itself and it got more interesting from then on.

Art (10)
I loved the art from the beginning, 'Nuff Said.

Character (7)
Hmm, well you get to know more of the ...

This manga's art is OK. don't expect too much of the art. But i love the story and the character development. the story's great. the cover may not look like it is boring but don't judge a book by its cover. it s definately a great read and you won't regret reading it especially if you love master/servant relationship. it has some romantic moments but it is not smut.
