Both involve the growth of a romantic relationship between the strong female protagonist and her supernatural servant. Kamisama is a bit more light-hearted and current than Her Majesty; but if you liked one I would consider looking into the other.

The general plot and the characters are clearly very similar: a schoolgirl with spiritual powers, a wild, demoniac, silver-haired dog guy, and their relationship. Both manga involve romance, supernatural, horror and comedy.

Both manga are by Mick Takeuchi, and share the same genres (shoujo, supernatural, comedy, romance, school) and a similar plot (in both the protagonist is a schoolgirl with a special, unusual ability).

Girs with supernatural powers deal with demons. and some romance.

Both contain female leads that, while having incredibly strong supernatural powers in addition to very painful pasts, still have very little experience in love or romance. Enter the incredibly good looking demon guardians. They protect, watch over--and maybe even love--their masters. Add to that a whole bunch of deadly enemies trying to destroy them and you have two series that are incredibly good reads!

the girl can see spirits and demons!! and she falls in love with a demon..(the plots are really similar)...

Different stories, but they have a similar feeling to them. Both are shoujo with supernatural/ horror themes (Kemonotachi has more blood...) . Also both stories go deeper than your average shoujo. Great red both of them!

Dog/wolf and supernatural beings as protector. Female protagonist in wolfull moon started off not knowing her own potential whereas her majesty's dog, she was brought up as a clan "leader". The characters of the dog/wolf are exact opposites.

I just love the heriones in both stories, they both also have a non-human being in love with them, in Her Majesty's dog it is a demon and in VG its a vampire. Both relationships are very entertaining to watch unfold.

Both girls are in a high position/status, naive and have a "dog"/body guard which loves them and rescues them all the time.
reportRecommended by Salvina
Both girls are the "masters" of very powerful 'dogs" that eventually fall in love with each other

Both have naive female leads that don't know a guys like her until they voice it out loud.

A teenage girl with supernatural powers is followed around by an extremely loyal but dorky guy. This relationship is very similar in both manga, and the characters are similar as well.

Shikigami/ Demon/Guardian both have contracts to protect their masters. Betrayal, Forbidden love and romance. Master already has a fiance but her demon and is unwilling to give her up. Demon needs to kiss master to regain power. All very similar and both really good. The Art also reminds me of each other.

Both Mangas are nice and long. They also have a similar plot where a heroine teams up with others to achieve a goal. They are well written, witty, funny and romantic with a touch of fantasy- if you liked one you'd definitely like the other.

Ayashi No Ceres and Her Majesty's Dog have the same 'feel' to their story. Their main charaters and both born into a supernatual high ranking position, of which they can't escape, and they have cute boy henchmen. There is also lots of mystery and supernatural occurrences in Ayashi no Ceres, which make them very similar and unique in many ways.

Some similarities include the main character being ostracized by her class at the beginning but slowly making friends and great relationships. No monsters in kimi ni todoke but both romantic plot lines with the main characters dealing with doubts and trying to figure out who they are.

both are romances between a human girl and an guy with supernatural abilities.

The almost exact same idea of some supernatural entity feeding off of a specific girl's energy through kisses in order to destroy evil spirits or monsters, etc. They're both supernatural, romantic shoujos, but have a bit of a horror-ish twist. Both really interesting stories and have realllly cute guys (:

A strong-willed heroine with a developing love interest, both of which are not fully aware of the guy's obvious feelings for her. Moreover, the great art of the mangas really plays with the comedy (especially for the main guy's crazy antics, and the girls' dense look). Both mangas are really good and hilarious. And if you read Her Majesty's Dog, you can see the character similarities too. Difference between these two is that Maid-sama is more like one big development, while Her Majesty's Dog is more like stories here and there with the development in the background. Either way, they both have a girl that  read more

Both the male characters are like wild animals, which the female leads are able to control

Both have to do with spirits and putting them to rest.
