The relationships of the characters in these josies are similar in the way they treat each other and ideas about marriage are a major theme. The couple in Hapi Mari have an arranged marriage, while the female lead in Totsuzen has her goal to get married before she meets the guy. They feature a career girl paired with a successful guy.
