Cute characters must suffer. Manga that boasts a captivating and vibrant art style that brings both backgrounds and characters to life, immersing readers in an enchanting visual experience. The artwork offers a delightful glimpse into a myriad of imaginative creations, setting this manga apart from the rest. As readers witness the characters' joy and struggles, there's a yearning for the story's day-to-day elements to gain momentum. However, the current focus remains on the fervent desire to witness the characters triumphant journey in mastering the challenges of the day. The manga's artistry and the protagonist's quest intertwine to create a magnetic pull that keeps readers eagerly engaged. The end is near... Includes things like lots of blank space, large scenic panels, little/no text, aloof characters and a general feeling of emptiness. May only contain small snippets of these or the mood may persist throughout the entire series. From one end to another. From iyashikei, cgdct, simplistic, mundane, to the adventure, change, romance, "essence of living", conflict, to the liminal, infinite, loss, destination, desperation, the end. A list of manga that has no or next to no sexual content (e.g. Bath scenes, partial nudity, sex jokes, ect.) My favorite ones are the "Eddy-likes" (from "Ed, Edd & Eddy") AKA the ones that keeps pushing their luck and takes the punches because they can. they may be adventurous in the same world (post apocalyptic) or in others, they may be alone or accompanied, but they are always discovering new things. Any manga that is primarily set in a wintery or snowy setting. I've also included a couple of series that are not set in a wintery or snowy setting but that involve magical characters that often cause snowy or icy settings. Worlds to escape to when life is too much <3 |
