I've been asked pretty frequently to recommend something, so I've created this stack.
This is my personal opinion on what's "a hidden gem". I think some of these considered "mildly" popular? If you read a lot of manga, you probably know some of these. I hope you do, haha.

Everything here I've either read or reading atm. None of those have an anime adapatation (OVAs and live-actions don't count).

Pretty much the same plot, spun in a slightly different direction each time. Some random bloodthirsty creatures show up and kill a lot of people, usually on an apocalyptic scale.

Manga with exceptionally good artwork, not something that's the same boring black and white generic faces/body types. But instead manga that takes its artwork seriously, the artist knows how to create a scene, give each character unique appearances.

Manga about people surviving in all kind of different situations or environments.


Trying to exclude the "survival game' type stories and I haven't red all of them so maybe some don't really fit.
