Overall impression:
At first it gives a vibe of a pure comedy, but it has a surprisingly deep serious part to it. While it is written in the humorous style with no trace of a dramatic atmosphere, the characters and the problems they face are actually quite realistic and sympathetic.

I usually don't read comedies, but this one got me hooked. I wish it was written in a more serious style, but that's just my preferences.

On the objective side:
The general quality of manga is quite good, story is well-paced and not too cliche, humor is on a decent level and doesn't get ...

Wow. What a manga! I absolutely delight how Jun Sakura potrays high school life of a loner baseball club ace, a transferred student, and other characters surrounds. One of the most recommended SoL manga for me.

Story: It's a light story, and it's enjoyable! Somehow the mangaka have a broad knowledge to build the story. Rakugo, baseball, all of it is fits in the story. I wonder why manga that have a solid story like this didn't receive a TV/movie anime adaptation?

Art: It's a very good art. That's it. I can't describe it anymore.

Character: I'm in love with how Jun Sakura make a great character building. ...

You should try it
At first I was recculant to try it but afterwards when I just read 2-3 chapters, I was really impressed

This is a very good manga and the changed the meaning of slice of life in my head
Really good characters, good humuor, excellent pacing and a thought provoking story

Is satisfaction most important thing , we give up our satisfaction for the sake of other but are we living our life happily, if Even after giving up our satisfaction we can't enjoy our life then what's the purpose"

According to yugami kun, "friendship doesn't demand giving up your satisfaction, be your own greatest ...

You can't friend zone a guy who doesn't want to be your friend in the first place.

This manga is truly a quality piece of work. The premise is not extraordinary - an odd guy/weirdo and a kind hearted girl in a shoujo setting, except the romance is pretty much non-existent. So, if you are a shoujo enthusiast looking for some good ole romance, bid this one a goodbye. There are some very subtle hints of romance but they could be interpreted differently too. It is first, and foremost, a slice of life manga with rich characterization, great humor, good art and extremely likeable characters ...

You should know these things before reading:

-This manga is NOT drama heavy (not to say there isn't any!)
-This manga is NOT romance heavy
-This manga will be relatable if you're the kind of person that can have fun doing your own thing

On to the review aspect! I added the above statements because they were all pretty general things that I wasn't expecting going into the manga. This is a relatively chill slice-of-life featuring two somewhat unconventional main characters that are really brought to life in the story. A particular detail that I really love in this is how different aspects of the characters lives ...

This is a solid manga that has one special feature I have not seen anywhere else: It is a slice of life, but the characters develop. In the end, Yugami-kun is story about the characters and how they evolve as people. What's strange is that nothing of exception happens in this manga, but you feel more movement than many action stories, simply because the characters change in a real way.

I think Yugami-kun is almost a perfect slice-of-life. It encapsulates the day-to-day vibes of a high-schooler. I feel like I'm simply viewing the perspective of a somewhat odd teenager.

It has no anime bullshit either ...

This manga is everything Cross Game wished it could be.

See, this is how you balance a manga with slice of life, romance, and baseball. Notice how despite the theme of the manga being very baseball heavy, the manga does not delve deep into it at all. Games are barely shown, and practice is never done in detail. The baseball club was mainly a hub for relationships to form between each character and slice of life was the forefront.

Overall, just a strong slice of life manga with some light subthemes of romance. I think in the case of this manga, the direction could have been a ...

Story: 8
i found this manga in a recommendation from the app, at first i thought it's just this plain slice of life comedy but it turn out pretty fun to read! the main character circumtances pretty fun! the comedy is not the 'hilarious' type but it's the light heartwarming that keeps you on reading^^

art: 7
the artwork plainly fine, it' doesn't has a lot characteristic but it's coveys the story nicely, well drawn the character expression & background, the feeling and story easy to understand through the art :)

character: 9!
i really love this yugami guy, i really don't know what's with this character and that's what ...
