If i had to sum the Doujinshi up in 1 word, then that would be "surprisingly enjoyable." Fuck that, that's 2 words. Whatever...
Danshi Toilet de Machiawase is a story about a social outcast of a girl, spending her breaks in school, in an old male bathroom, when she suddenly meets a guy in one of the broken bathroom stalls.
Don't worry. I didn't know what to expect either.
The picture presenting the manga looks like something straight out of an H-Manga. The Doujinshi tag doesn't help either, but i can assure you, that it is a good, lighthearted romance'ish comedy.
Story 7/10
The story starts with the girl having
...
an inner monologue in a male bathroom. She thinks about that it's the only place in school where she can sit and read in a quiet place. When the school bell rings she exits the stall, at the same time as a boy comes out from one as well. The boy is completely chill about it, but the girl is of course freaking out about it. Friendship ensues.
Art 8/10
The art is surprisingly good! If "Denki-gai no Honya-san" and "Horimiya" had a child based on the artstyle, then "Danshi Toilet de Machiawase" would be born.
Character 7/10
The characters are entertaining to watch. The girl (Ahagon Yuri) and the boy (Jyanadou Kouta) has a surprisingly good chemistry together. If it's about lending toilet paper to each other, or talking about why they are in the toilet in the first place, they can always make it enjoyable.
Enjoyment 7/10
I didn't know what to expect from this. I honestly didn't, but i'm glad that i read it. It's good, it's unique, it's very well drawn and it leaves a craving for more.
Overall 7/10
It's a good and short Doujinshi that can be finished in in under 10 minutes. It's well drawn and leaves a craving for more. If you ever happen to come across it, do yourself the favor and read it.
