Both have magical girl elements (magic), love, drama and comedy. They also have a similar romantic issues involving a girl possibly falling in love with two completly different (personality and physically wise) boys.  

Love triangle and the main character is a teenage girl who has to choose between two boys who are close in a way. 

the characters look kinda the same... its also a "love triangle" the main character thinks she likes one boy but end up liking the best friend just like in Kirarin Revolution... there both made into anime...  

In both stories a cute girl meets two strangers from another world, there's a love triangle involved in both only in Full Moon wo Sagashite it isn't as obvious to the main character, both very good stories, both have Animes and if you liked Mamotte! Lollipop? you'll like Full Moon wo Sagashite 

both the series includes magic. The love story is so cute. both the guys protected the girl from evil mages who wants to kill her. 

In both of them you have magic. Though in Sugar Sugar Rune the girls are the magical beings and the guys are normal.....Well you get my point. 

I love Mamotte! Lollipop and Kitchen Princess! I recomend Kitchen Princess to all Mamotte! Lollipop fans. It is pretty much the same story line, that kind girl with no partner, those two guys, one tough and one kind. To me, it's like mamotte! lollipop with cooking! It even includes awesome, tasty recipie extras! 

Both are story lines with ridicoulous aventures, cute moments, silly romance and magic in some sense. Really adorable and light reads. If you liked one, then you will definetly like the other. 

Both are sweet romance, with girl who want to meet prince from a fairy tale 

Both Ultra maniac and Mamotte! lollipop have magic and romance!!! They are both very cute and have easy going story lines so if you just want a nice, cute, mahou shoujo (dont know if i spelt that right XP) then Both are very good!!! In my opinion they both have cute art styles and cute clothes!!! Last thing in Ultra maniac "Nina" a girl from the magic knigdom poses magic while in Mamotte! lollipop the two main guys are from a magic kingdom and have magical powers!!!!! both are awesome~
