Midori lost her mother when she was young and now her father's gone too. But her dad left her with a surprise: a fiancé named Tetsuya. So now, Midori has to live in a good-looking men only apartment (Harem Lodge), which is actually filled with weirdos. What is going to happen to her? Well we just have to wait and see...
I really liked this manga. It's a short read, so there's not much in way of plot line and not really any huge drawn out dramatic moments. The drawings are very cute, and the characters are all quite interesting and unique. If you're looking for something cute and light-hearted, with a bit of bizarreness, I would recommend this manga.
This story was really great! It touched some soft, sentimental part of me-- I fell in love with it from the first chapter. The basic premise of the story is really quite cliche (girl living in apartment with a bunch of weirdos, falls in love with a total bishie) but something about Midori is so endearing. She's not the overused sexy, air-headed, boy-magnet, martyr of love. She's really lovable and her personality isn't nauseatingly weak, unlike some shoujo heroines.
The whole story is full of little comedic moments that make you laugh out loud, and wonderful, sweet romantic scenes that make you
want, no--NEED more. And I think that the story had a nice conclusion. It leaves you satisfied but because you loved the story so much you want it to keep going!
The art is not anything special or amazing, but I thought everything was very well drawn... especially the characters when viewed in profile. Don't get me wrong, there ARE flaws (in the beginning, the fingers seem freakishly long and Midori's eyes are often drawn annoyingly large) but it's a very clean art style overall.
Unlike your average shoujo there is character development (shocker, I know!) and you really fall in love with all the characters. Overall, I completely enjoyed this manga and will definitely be checking out more of this mangaka's work!
A young womans father dies, and she is told to go and find someone - he will make her happy. This is the short story of the relationship between them.
Originally I chose to read this manga because it was short, and I wanted something I could just read. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
I liked the two main characters. They are both kinda ditzy in their own ways, and I loved the way the backstory to the two was divulged. The supporting characters were also charming, and were more strong in their own right. Unlike some other very short
manga, the story doesn't just jump to strangely to a romantic relationships.
The story is funny! It is cute. It was engaging, and I didn't need to be totally focused to follow the story line. I highly recommend it for lighthearted enjoyment.
