Having read the first 2 chapters and managed to get my hand on some raw of later episodes, overall I m pretty satisfied with this adaptation!!
The first chapter was awesome, one of my favorite side quests of the VN!!

Kotarou and the others embark on a quest for supernatural stuff, and come to find out the it was only a old candy shop that due to the advance of time, couldnt manage to stay on the business for much longer... so with its days counted, the ocult club + yoshino spent their day buying stuff and having fun with the old lady that runs ... the shop.
Conclusion, having everyone together is a definitive plus for me, lots of comedy included, especially the excalibur legend! The negative point is that the chapter ends without the other half of what I saw on the VN that concluded this side story...
Moving on chapter 2 takes a time skip to the beggining of Rewrite story, if you saw the other manga adaptation, nothing new here!

By what I have seen of the raws I presume that since that chapter 2, the story takes a stream lined path, finishing at chibimoth beating the slums crew (reminding me of Kotori funny quotes about chibimoth going soft on them, gradually escalating to 5-7 yoshinos!! ) , as I couldnt find more raws.

One thing I enjoyed more here, comparing to the other manga version, is the art, for the most part, the characters are nicely done (again expressing my favoritism for some, Lucia looked great, Kotarou is fine, and kotori, chihaya and shizuru were cute enough, though Akane design was a bit weird at certain scenes...), the exception being yoshino's face, that was seriously weird! A downgrade since the other adaptation.

Being myself a great fan of Rewrite, definitly I look to this and had to say nice fanservice overall! The story overall takes place at the common route, so no heroine route yet (would be more happy if Lucia route was adapted...).

For the common viewer, again, did you enjoyed this type of slice of life, adventure mistery story, did you liked some characters traits??
Then give the VN a try then, and you wont forget it, since if you are waiting for more chapters being scanlated, good luck (more than 400 days since the last chapter was scanlated).

If you are a fan of Rewrite and have a strong desire for the anime that god only knowns when it will, if it will, come... then I reccomend this adaptation, even more than the other one, since this one grasps more of the story and the art is a overall improvement from the previous.

So far I can only give, again, an 8. The comedy is nice and all, but not featuring any specific heroine route or later more serious dramatic story, is a bit of a downer for me.
