Preliminary Spoiler

I came across this manga while looking for mangas with ninjas involved and immediately fell in love with the gorgeous art even if the story wasn't all that new.

Story 5/10

As I said, time slips are nothing new however this story had a lot of potential but all the way through it I felt it was rushed, allowing little action, the scenes were two pages long at the most, and sadly it allowed very little (if any) character development. All this meant that there were plot holes so big, you could drive a truck through them. It should have been at least twice its length ...

Firstly I must state that apparently this manga is based off an otome game. While I have read manga that were also based on otome games they had better depth than this one.

Story
It's dreadful. Many things that occur within this manga are never explained. So on the few moments that things start to get interesting, such as the mad baddie character Yamato's background snippets, it never goes further than a few frames displaying a complex character history. This applies to most of the characters so you never really get to know them beyond the few things they cared to put ...

In short : "Only recommendable to those caring only about eye candy."

Art :

It may be odd for some that I start with the art, but since this manga only possesses one redeemable quality, I decided to start with it right off the bat.
You got it, the art is good. Not outstanding, but good enough to visually satisfy various bishie types. And that’s basically it since landscapes and backgrounds are forgettable.

So could I state something negative regarding this short section ? Well, yes, the design of those said bishies are way too reminiscent of Hakuoki. In that regard, there’s a complete lack of inspiration of ...

The art in this manga is really good all of the characters are bishis. Im not gonna lie the story is underdeveloped, however i think it is meant to be a short story. Overall i still think it was good, but it would have been better if they would have made it longer.

Something to do with Sengoku era ? - I'm on it!

I know that this manga is based on an otome game, and I did not have any expectations from it since the beginning, but cute guys, so...still reading it!!! This one seems to be taking an example (and not only) from Hakuouki series. Even the character design is similar. But that is not the point. This manga is the third one that I have read that actually went with - let's chose a male that the heroine will end up with - approach. I like it.

The actual execution of that was very ...
