Absolutely amazing adaptation from TAGRO! I had I blast reading this, and I think this one is quite a bit more imaginative and better-looking than Imaishi's own version of the PSG comic strips. I feel like if you love the anime, there's virtually no reason not to like this, as it keeps all the spirit of the anime. It's debatable whether any of these are canon to the story since they are originals by TAGRO and not all of them fit well within the story but the characters are 100% spot-on, so you can consider pretty much all of the chapters, except for the one
...
which parodies Riddley Scott's Alien, to be part of the canon before the finale of the series. Again, since TAGRO couldn't really change any of the major plotpoints or reveal anything about the caracters that wasn't revealed in the anime, these would be like a very, very good "filler" segments if they were in the anime.
The only thing that disappoints me is that they don't continue the story past the ending, though it does not surprise me since I was expecting axactly that - self-contained chapters that don't really mess with the plot of the anime. I'd love to see these adapted into an OVA even though the chances of that are practically 0 since we still haven't gotten season 2 for the show.
The dialogue was very sharp and making some quite clever puns and each character added a bit of their flavor to it, as I said the characters are really spot-on. I also really liked the personal notes at the end of the volume, which showed a personal perspective from the creators on this manga and what they tried to do with it, as well as the ghost stats which were a small, but not insignificant insight. I really like how creative the series can get with some of these enemies, which is a strong point shared accross the anime, as well as both manga adaptations in my opinion as all of them have cool and creative ghosts of different shapes, sizes, designs and powers.
Overall, if you're a fan of the show, this is no downgrade from it by any means.
