Ayahatori-that is the given name of the family possessing a mysterious power. They have the power to be able to summon and use beings and people from secret ancient writings. During the Ayahatori initiation ceremony, high schooler Kozakura Saya summons one of the three most beautiful women in the world, Ono no Komachi. However, what appears in front of her is a man with matchless beauty!?
The story was cutesy and interesting but certainly lacking development and conclusion. It certainly seemed like it was incomplete to me.
I enjoyed the art style, especially some of the coloured pages.
The character were interesting but not developed, wish that they would of given more of a background and explantation about each character and the decisions made throughout the chapters.
A whole lot of confusion to be had. Like who are certain characters in relation to our main heroine. Seemed as though the author tiptoed around the subject. I understand that authors want to keep readers interested but there were too many questions left
to answer at the conclusion of the story.
I don't regret reading but I probably wouldn't reread either.
I consider that Ayahatori Shoukanjou is a nice shoujo manga to read, which the drawing is kind of similar with Vampire knight.
Well, first thing I like about it is the drawing. It has a really nice drawing and you can see without a doubt is a shoujo manga just by looking the drawings. Even though the female characters have big eyes, the eyelashes aren't decorated too much and this kind of eyes are cute, too. However, as in many other shoujo manga, there are some very cute decorations on scenes (not to say awfully cute) like petals, flowers, and a lot of light spheres effects.
What I really like above all of this are the drawings of the characters hair and the handsome boys (lol).
About the story, it is a simple story, a very cliche one. And the main character remind me of Yuuki Cross (Main character of VK). But I like the idea of the power of weavers and all of that thing. First, I thought this power was like the power of Alice 19th manga, but it is a totally different one. However, all the rest are typical: the happy energic girl and the serious distand boy, they like each other and you know. And all the story focus in the relationships and not too much in the powers.
As a conclusion, the drawing are really good but the story lack a little more of action. But, if you are a really shoujo fan girl and you prefer read more about the relationships than the supernatural or fantasy things in a story, this manga is a really good option for you.
