Normally I would say Nakamura-san's writing is dark but this boarders on "messed-up". The distinction I make between the two is based is on the reasons WHY she writes things this way. I "J no Subete" it is to show character development and growth and I believe the same goes for "Copernicus no Kokyuu" but in this particular manga there may not actually be a reasoning behind a major plot point.
