Mahou Shoujo 201 is about Fujiyama — a woman in her 30s whose job is to be a general in an evil organization. However, she is constantly defeated by a powerful 10-year-old magical girl named Princess Mamu. Because of that, she doesn’t get paid enough by her workplace and is always broke. But one day, by a stroke of luck, the magical girl becomes Fujiyama’s neighbor. Figuring she could find Princess Mamu’s weakness, defeat her, and finally get a raise, Fujiyama decides to befriend Mamu.
The whole manga basically revolves around Fujiyama and Mamu hanging out. Their usual shenanigans boil down to Fujiyama trying to find

some information that could give her the upper hand, but since she’s a total loser, it always ends with her being humiliated. On the other hand, there’s Mamu - the cutest, smallest bean in the world, but also an extremely powerful and competent magical girl. She’s completely oblivious to Fujiyama’s schemes and treats her like a good neighbor. Over time, she starts to adore her and begins to think of Fujiyama as an older sister.
I personally didn’t have high expectations for this manga at first, but over time it became one of those titles that make me genuinely happy whenever a new chapter drops.
Each story usually wraps up within a single chapter (though there are a few that span two or three), which is great since it’s a manga published in a monthly magazine it makes easier to follow the plot.
The supporting cast is entirely female, consisting mostly of Fujiyama’s coworkers and other magical girls.
The artist previously worked only on hentai (and is apparently quite famous in that field), so there’s a fair amount of ecchi content, but it only involves Fujiyama, so no lolis were lewded in the making of this manga (lol). Most of the ecchi moments are just Fujiyama being naked, or the author finding ways to show off her thicc body from the best angle. The art style is great, a strong 8/10, maybe even 9/10.
This is also one of the few ecchi manga where the ass is actually drawn properly thick instead of the usual flat nonsense. I don’t know what’s wrong with Japanese artists, but unless they’ve drawn hentai before, they don’t know how to draw asses.
