‘The Knight King Who Returned With a God’ is a Korean manhwa about an over 300 year old man who spent most of his life fighting demons and orcs to protect his world. Unfortunately despite killing all of the demons his world still perishes because of the never-ending war and he ends up being the only one left alive. He finds himself in modern day Korea where gates of these monsters reside and he decides to build a knighthood there and continue rooting out the orcs and demons.

I’d say that this manhwa is hilarious, I think that’s what a lot of people come to ... this series for and for good reason. The extreme differences between his experience and insight make people have drastic misunderstandings about his behaviors and it’s quite funny. I’d say when comparing it to the novel, it has a tendency to be more extreme on the misunderstandings in ways that can make even the reader be a bit distrustful of him unnecessarily. However, I think it just makes the story even more compelling in some ways.

I don’t want to say too much in fear of accidentally spoiling information but what I can say is that I truly enjoy this series and I hope many others will give it a chance.

Briefly "gilgamesh" in a reverse isekai, it currently has few chapters, but the story seems fun with a generic plot embracing the clichés, however the protagonist's personality stands out well in the story being the main source of comedy.

Addendum, the story does not seem to develop anything innovative or better written being most of the time predictable, and tends to get lost as the story continues further, but in the supreme juice of works with guilds and hunters it stands out from the rest.

The characters are there to generate comedy by contrasting with the personality of the protagonist, who acts like a "king" in addition ... to serving as an impediment to making the story go, but all in common are used to exalt how great the protagonist is, and that no one can with him, with the first chapters literally serving only to give a character context, and to exalt how powerful the protagonist is

Briefly read if you want something simple and fun

Really great start but I feel like its starting to get a little generic. Too much comedy for my taste, I wish it was more serious. Still really enjoyed the start though, and the premise was pretty interesting. Going to put it on hold for now and pick it up again if I hear there's some big improvements later, but for now it's just okay. I feel like there are still great moments but they have too much space between them. For now its a decent action manhwa with good art, but I feel like it could have been more interesting had it embraced the ... more somber tone of the earlier chapters and kept the protagonist's regal aura.
