Synopsis

Souta Suzuki, a high school boy on the school volleyball team, is interested in his classmate Asahi Shinonome, a member of the girls' volleyball team. She thought of him as a good volleyball player, so she has been seeking him out every day. Souta was a keen volleyball player until junior high. However, because of his height, he could never become the spiker he longed to be. As a result, he got into the habit of giving up on things. Souta's high school life: Will he meekly accept what he cannot have? Or will he try to become a man who can stand with Asahi? Youth is a series of choices. Please, Souta, hang in there and do your best!

Another manga that should’ve had more chapters to really shine—it’s a shame it was so short. The ending was kind of what I expected, though the final chapter was a bit disappointing. Still, for a sports manga (and especially one about volleyball), it’s pretty good. I liked how the romance developed naturally, and the two main characters really stand out with their growth both in sports and in their relationship. The MC’s development was especially great—total badass. The art style fits the story, even if the necks are drawn way too long lol. "Height" Some people can be sensitive about it and some people can be proud where our main character is sensitive about his small height causing him some troubles within his sport, Volleyball.

The manga perfectly conveys what our MC is thinking of or how he feels every chapter for us to feel engaged or to make us feel emersed. Our main character having a complex about his height is slowly compensated with the kind words from our Female MC.
